I grabbed Tetris using the £5 off £20 paypal offer from a few weeks back.
Oh awesome, forgot about that! Does it need to be used in one go or can I buy a £10 game and then an £11 game for £6?

£20 min spend but from the console you can buy a £20 store credit and then just spend part of the store credit.

That's what I did the day the offer came out.

Thanks, been waiting for the namco collection to come down in price.

My point all along is don't write it off because you cherry picked some reviews that said it's bad whilst promoting other games because you cherry picked reviews that say it's good. It makes no sense. Just say I don't like hardcore JRPG's - I do like Tetris. No-one can argue with that. That's a matter of taste. It's not manipulating data to support your pre-determined view.
Exactly. I have the collector's edition of Xenoblade never played one before but willing to give it a go after I am finally ready to put Zelda down.

Have you guys seen you can get a couple of free tables for the free Pinball FX 3?

Install the game
Choose single player and a greyed out table (you don't own)
press A to go to the shop
Scroll to the bottom and you can buy 'carnivals and legends' for £0 as a limited time offer.

How do you buy the credit? Just browsing the store and can't see it.
Also, does PayPal discount show at checkout?

I'll add you in a bit. Mine's empty too, probably because Nintendo insist on using these stupid long codes

Just spent the whole afternoon with the family playing 4 player mario kart, think that’s the first time the whole family has been in the living room at the same time. Never usually see the kids until they want feeding.

After just watching Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, I found that I enjoyed it more than the Last Jedi, which I was not expecting since I hated the Fifth Element.

Besson really reigned in the outlandishness that spoiled FE. Some of the effects were well done especial Rihanna's costume changes

The World Ends With You remaster coming to Switch. I'm quite excited by this - always wanted to play it but I was over the DS by the time it came out. Though if I'm honest depending what they charge for it and how the joy-con controls work out I may just dig out the DS.

DKC Tropical Freeze and Hyrule Warriors Wii U ports coming to Switch as well.

Is imgur an allowed host?

Switch hardware question - am I the only one who finds the joy-cons seriously uncomfortable? I've been using them wii-mote style for Mario Odyssey with the strap things attached and tbh I think they're just crap. They sit uncomfortably in my hands, particularly the right one where the analog stick position just feels wrong (and I'm 100% in the Xbox offset stick position camp) and the strappy side digs in to my hand.

I hate the dock as well. They should've gone with a Wii U style dock.

Ooh I like the sound of that. Looks like it's coming to the other consoles and PC too. It's the only one I didn't finish so I'll happily pick it up again.

I'm cool with them but I have Trump hands. Not sure how more normal sized hands would cope. Have you thought about the Switch Pro controller?

I kind like having my hands seperate from each other whilst gaming. That might be the PC gamer in me though. Mouse and keyboard. I've never got on with game controllers.

It's not the separated controllers that bother me (I always liked the Wii-mote/nunchuk combo) - it's just the size/shape of them. The right one in particular just doesn't sit in my hand very well. I'm constantly having to shuffle it around as it just slips down making it very hard to use the analog stick comfortably.

I've thought about the Pro Controller but I've always been against buying accessories like that as I just feel like I shouldn't have to. Doesn't help it costs so much, or that a game like Mario Odyssey has motion controls that offer features beyond what a standard controller can do in the game.

I recently got a Switch and whilst I'm really enjoying it I find the right thumb stick really awkward to use. That and the A/B and X/Y buttons being the wrong way round!

If you've already got an Xbox controller just buy one of these:

YUANHOT Controller Converter for Nintendo Switch,Support for PS3/PS4/XBOX ONE/XBOX 360 Controller(Support TV MODE and HANDHELD MODE),with Type-C OTG Cable I use it with my XBox Pro controller and it makes things a hundred times better. Especially as I have remapped the A/B/X/Y buttons so that they're in the right place!
