Woeful And that is the performance and Lovren.

We were never really going to go unbeaten all season but, for me, total points is far more important. And we are still odds on to beat that record

Only plus point was it increases the chances of winning the title at home to Villa.

We were shockingly, worryingly atrocious all over the pitch. Even VVD i thought could have made a better effort to jump and keep out that 3rd Goal. I am sick of saying "Lovren is a liability who will cost us" season after season. Like Mignolet & Karius, another Klopp blind spot.Just get this over line as quickly as possible.

A poor performance and very disappointing to lose, but we've gone 44 unbeaten, more than a season. We've waited 30 years to win the league again and we're still only four wins away from our last ten games. The amount of times over the years we've got close and blown it, but for the first time I can't actually see us not winning it. It's when and not if, this just means one match later.

And records of lengths of unbeaten, "invincibles", etc I don't really care, the only thing that matters to me is seeing us lift the title again, something I genuinely thought I'd never see again.

Glass half full guys, glasses half full!

And that's from an eternal pessimist!

The performance was the worrying bit.

The 'unbeaten for a season' thing was a purely media driven thing and, for me, way down at the bottom of the remaining priorities; PL, CL, FA Cup, points tally and then unbeaten. People seem to forget that Arsenal's invincible season contained TWELVE draws and we are well ahead in points to what they were at this stage. Far more impressive to lose just twice in two years for me.

Oh and United fans' only solace - the only team to take points off us - this season has gone as well now

TBH that was probably coming, Norwich and West Ham were struggles and we didn't create any chances in Madrid either. Not sure why Lovren got the nod ahead of Matip either I guess Klopp sees them every day in training though and we can't really complain about his decisions can we!

Interesting to see what side gets put out on Tuesday, I know it's down on the priorities list, but I think we need to put out a strong side to get back to scoring and winning.

Losing the unbeaten run could be a blessing in disguise, if we can get past AM and wrap up the League asap, then we can fully concentrate on the CL without worrying about the "Invincibles" tag

Well we won't be playing the kids tomorrow ... Neil Critchley has left the class become Blackpool manager.

FFS. I know it wasn't a full strength side but it was strong enough and that's the defeats in four games, pretty bad form to getting past Athletico and feels like we're going to be limping over the line in the league of they don't turn it around, not how want to be doing it after such a great season until now

Last week's half full glass is empty tonight...

It's not a blip now, it's a massive wobble. Conceded 8 goals in the last 4 games, and are hardly creating chances .Doesn't help when your goalie is chucking them in though. And bin off the winter break...second season on the trot now it's screwed us up

Minamino and Origi were awful. Having said that we were unlucky not to score at least one in the first half.

Big performance needed now in the next two games.

That will be Adrian between the sticks tomorrow and, possibly, Wednesday then

That's a big blow ahead of the athletico game, not what we need right now

Mind you - can't see Athletico doing too much attacking on Wednesday

Good comeback to going a goal down considering (a) our recent results and (b) VAR should have ruled their goal out. More evidence against the LiVARpool ********

Now I am back from last week's slight needless worry about whether we were going to muck it up to what combination of results can see us win the title at home to Palace but not before

I think you need to win it ASAP to be honest before everyone starts playing behind closed doors.

Winning it at home to Palace looks most likely at now IMO - and just needs City to drop at least 3 points in their next 3 games.

Also hadn't noticed until yesterday that the City game is two weeks after Palace; don't want to leave it til after Palace to give coronavirus a real chance to kick in

I'm not particularly confident of beating Everton.i think it will be around the Villa game when/if we clinch it.

I read that if Man City lose all three games this week, you win the league before you kick a ball again!

Not gonna happen, but amusing still.
