Hmmm. I didn't think they'd have games already available in the monthly PSN+ freebies. Makes me wonder if Transistor will go in there. Probably only if I buy it first....

I really want transistor but £15 seems like a lot for a likely psn+ game

Just under £9 if you buy it on the US store (and yes i'm sure it will end up as a PS+ game sometime but so will just about anything if you wait long enough)

Some news about the Playstation Now (possible) pricing... oh dear.

http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2014/0...nt-have-to-be/

Don't think they'll get many takes if they end up charging like that.

Not in the least bit interested using that pricing structure. I'd have a look if it was a very low (£10 a month max) monthly unlimited charge, or if I could permanently have stuff for £2-£6 a game. I can't see a market otherwise.

Hmm. If it's not a cheap subscription to gain access to a wide back catalog of games, what's the point? Why would you pay more for stuff you can pick up way cheaper to own and play without the extra latency?

That will die a death, even at a tenth of the price.

Those prices are pretty daft. They should consider instead rolling it into PS+ somehow and offering an extra "platinum" level for a little more each month that included Now (or at least a handful of Now titles each month for unlimited play).

Well the article does mention that it's a pre-release structure.

I'd expect something closer to a subscription service - PS++ maybe at £100 per year with unlimited access and the usual PS+ stuff.

To be honest, I'm not sure I'd be tempted as there's nothing particular that I'd want to play from a back catalogue point of view. Hmm.. not sure how this will pan out.

£3 a month - The PS1 library
£6 a month - The PS1/2 library
£9 a month - The PS1/2/3 library

any more than that and they can go whistle but I doubt I'd be too interested

Walking Dead Season 2 Season Pass is £7.19 for Vita (Plus members) and £4.82 on PS3.

Been waiting for these to drop on the Vita.

Entering PS Plus:

2nd July: TowerFall Ascension
2nd July: Strider
2nd July: Dead Space 3
2nd July: Vessel
2nd July: LEGO Batman 2: DC Superheroes
2nd July: Doki Doki Universe

Some decent titles there. Looking forward to giving Dead Space 3 a go.

Nice! Been waiting for the inevitable Vita season price discount too.

Now when are they getting Wolf Among Us on Vita...?

They can whistle at £9 a month, to be honest. The likelihood of me ever playing PS1-2 games again is about nil and any PS3 game I'm interested in is slowly making its way to PSN+ and if its not, its costing a few quid to buy the disc version.

I see this as more of a dry run for a future online only console, not next gen, perhaps the gen after.
