[F1] The Australian Grand Prix 2013

The Australian Grand Prix 2013

Friday 15th March

Practice 1: 1.30am
Practice 2: 5.30am

Saturday 16th March

Practice 3: 3am
Qualifying: 6am

Sunday 17th March

Race: 6am

SkySportsF1 HD covers the whole season for its second year, while BBC will cover nine races live - this time showing practice sessions on BBC2, without the need to hit the red button.

I am really looking forward to the beginning of this season.

The Mercedes looking good in testing. Maybe Hamilton will surprise a few?

Can't wait for the start. The wife very much can....

Yeah really looking forward to it, it's going to be fascinating to see how Hamilton will place in Qualifying, have to fancy Button for the win.

I notice Georgie Thompson has packed in her presenting job at Sky F1 already, not happy at playing second fiddle according to this article:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/for...ky-Sports.html

Wondered why I hadn't seen her on the F1 show for a while, looks like us Sky viewers will be having to make do with the lovely Natalie Pinkham.

Can't wait, should be a cracking season, as long as Vettel doesn't disappear into a 3 second lead by the end of lap 1

Don't blame her, after the stint she put in on the A1 coverage, and the fact that Lazenby is ******* awful!

Looking forward to this too.
Got the sky channel to watch it on this season, and although from what I saw of it I much prefer the BBC coverage, but I'll put up with it just to watch live races.

If anyone's not got Sky (or a mate with Sky Go, or other ways...), the iPhone Sky Sports App is only a fiver a month. I use it on my iPad at x2 size and it's watchable for not a lot of outlay. Can't watch it on a TV but may suit some people looking for a not-norty option.

I'm an ABV (anyone but Vettel) - can we have proper racing team (not a drinks maker - and non-alcoholic one at that) winning this year please ...

Time for Hamilton or Alonso (who's been so close recently) to show talent wins over boring germanic consistency.

Another end to the season like the last one would be great, even if Vettel does win #4...

Why should he? He is a good driver (even though I personally don't like him) and Mercedes are a good car. High time a team with so many resources got their act together.
