Buying another Blu-ray player...

I already have a Region A PS3 and and contemplating buying a Region B machine as well. I have narrowed my choices to either of these: Sony BDPS370 or Sony BDPS570.

I would prefer the BDPS370 for the SACD playback as I've got a few SACDs that I've been unable to play since I relegated my Philips HTS a few years ago.

I understand that I will also need a WiFi dongle for firmware updates and the like, I don't have spare ethernet sockets on my router to hardwire it. Will any USB WiFi dongle work? Any recommendations?

Will I also need a memory card for BD Live nonsense? Not that I use it but I understand that some titles have issues loading due to lack of memory.

Unless the BDPS570 also plays SACDs but I see no mention of this anywhere.

I'd hazard a guess that a cheap switch to expand your network & allow you to hardwire it would be much cheaper & easier than trying to source a compatible wifi dongle!

And a 1gb USB dongle left plugged in should prevent any BD Live issues, should you ever choose to us it.

570 spec sez that it does SACD (see below). Well worth the extra £££ over the 370 given that you can only use the Sony wifi dongle with that machine, which'll cost you a minimum of £50 anyway. You'll also need some USB flash memory for the 370, but the 570 has 1GB built in.
