Finally got round to watching this tonight. Enjoyed it a lot. There seems to be a bit of House/Wilson between the main bloke and the English fella.

Second episode was awful. The music choice was still good though, and I did like the end credits sequence.

End credits was the best bit. Weaker this week though, will give it another week and then . . . probably keep watching it regardless of quality.

Same thoughts here. Dull, comedy-free episode with a mildly-amusing end credit sequence & a classic Aimee Mann music track.

Currently too much to watch on my TV Watch-list, so this becomes the lastest victim to be removed from it.

Just as well you're not a US "Nielsen household" as nothing would stand a chance!

I just checked that my current US watch-list consists of 37 shows. I gotta draw the line somewhere!

If I was a Nielsen Household, the likes of Firefly, Carnivale etc,etc would still be running.

That's a shame cos Firefly was crap.

I thought this was much funnier than the first episode. The bizarre slow mo montage was hilarious.

Though Ken Jeong needs to find a new schtick as 'abrasive asian' is getting old. Here's hoping he tones it down a notch from now on.

Pretty good watch. Not as good as the Office or Parks and Recreation but not a bad start at all. The blond is easy on the eye too (and well worth a Google).

They need to turn Chevy up a few notches.

To be fair Chevy's role was initially just written as a normal guy. Chevy joined late which is why he's a non entity in the first episode. Already we're seeing much more of him now and he had some good lines.

"Did you say 'S'?"

I think it was because Jeff's earlier speech sets it up

"What we have so far. Well, we have something incredibly long and very confusing and a little homophobic and really, really specifically, surprisingly and gratuitously critical of Israel. It's called ‘Two Conquistadors’. It should probably be ‘Dos’; I mean it is a Spanish class.”

I also liked the contrast between Britta who's shown that she supposedly cares a lot and can't be bothered to do anything, as opposed to Jeff, who doesn't care about anything but gives it all he's got because he thinks he'll gain something.

Plus how many demonstrations have you seen with Brownies and break dancing.

The best part about Jeff's speech was seeing how accurately he was describing what was written on the blackboard.

It seems evident from just the first two episodes that it's going to be very hit and miss. I thought the first episode was outstanding. It concerns me that the show was written without Chevy Chase in mind because I thought he was the worst thing about the episode, and if that's because they're going to 'let Chevy be Chevy' then it could spoil the whole show. Shame if that's the case because I thought he was great in the pilot.

You still watch Smallville don't you? You could fit in two sit-coms a week for that turd.
