Yep read that too. No probs, best to wait and get it done in time. Interesting about the itvHD though, not tried it without the new EPG but it seems it does need the new EPG to receive it.

My order status has been updated. Ordered 2 weeks ago and they said 3 months, they now say 7-11 weeks.

Think I can safely say I wont be getting it very soon! Knowing my luck will get it just as the footy season ends!

Does anyone know how to get to the engineers page on the new EPG? Now they don't use numbers to navigate the menus the old 4, 0, 1 way won't work any more. I need to check the power to R/F2 is switched on as I've just ordered a Sky Eye.

EDIT - Found it

Found now on, go to services then go down in to it and press:

0, 0, 1, Select.

004 owners have been getting their packs today and are expecting an install of the new EPG overnight.

Just read on digitalspy that Sky are going to distribute this new guide out to the longest serving HD customers first, rather than make and model of box.

So is Thomson now the box to want as first choice?
Used to be Amstrad>Samsung>Thomson didn't it?

The problem is they determine the longest serving customers by the make and model of the set top box you currently have. If you've had your box replaced , like I have, then you've been pushed down the pecking order. It is only a fancy new EPG though, so I'm sure I can just about contain myself.

And I'm not sure where I'd count - went for a HD box via eBay about 18 months ago (which won't be on their records) but then I did call to get my card paired up (and took out the HD sub, which I've since cancelled!) so who knows....

I do have a Thomson box, with the 004 at the end of the software version, etc.

My 3004 box was busy downloading something on Saturday night. The pack came yesterday so I'm all set. I would have thought, tonight will be the night and come the morning the new guide will be here.

Not sure I'm looking forward to it to be honest. Seems to be more problems with it than it solves.

However ITV HD for the footie on Wednesday will be a bonus.

I bought mine off my mate in December...

It's a release day Thomson 004 box as well and I had a nice Sky+HD Guide letter when I got home today.

So it's obviously anyone with the original box who is getting it.

I've had Sky HD for just over 3 months...
