Breakfast Club / Weird Science / Sixteen Candles R2 release

Hi

Was checking a few wish-list titles and Play have a Breakfast Club / Weird Science / Sixteen Candles boxset & a seperate Breakfast club release listed for 12/9/2005

Two hits. Me hitting you, you hitting the floor...

Should be pretty much the same as the R1 release and the artwork looks pretty cool

OK, different director, but can we have "The Legend of Billie Jean" on DVD too? I don't think that's ever been released on DVD anywhere.

DEFINETLY!! I cherish my old worn out RCA Columbia videotape of Legend of Billie Jean... I'd also love to see the other classic Helen Slater 80's film - Happy Together - hit DVD..!

Hell while we're at it I'd also love to see these classic 80s teen movies on DVD:

Double Switch
Home Front
Three for the Road
Student Exchange
Willy Milly
Zapped!
Nice Girls Don't Explode
B.R.A.T Patrol
Out of Bounds
The Night Before
Mystery Date
Rad
Solarbabies

Think I'll wait. They're talking about a new Breakfast Club movie with all the original cast so they'll probably do another dvd then hopefully with a commentary with all the "kids" and maybe John Hughes will put the hour or so of the film that was deleted back in, or at least show them.

Might have to order this and Pretty in Pink, then have a John Hughes marathon by joining them with Ferris Buellers Day Off.

I've just checked my Dvdprofiler, I got the R1 High School Reunion pack on Aug 29th 2003 !!

Why has it taken so long to get an R2 release?

For anyone who bought this, can you please tell me if the dialogue that was muted in the R1 in Weird Science is now fixed in this R2 release?

It's basically near the start of the film, when Gary and Wyatt are sitting at the computer. The words "very nice" and "I tell you what Wyatt, if there's one thing I know it's female stats ..." are totally muted. All you hear is the soundtrack music.
