You cant cut it any finer than that but nice all the same when it happens and shows a bit of backbone too which is great to see.

Great result, very entertaining game. only disappointment for me was Josemi, who was at fault for both goals and generally had a really carp game.

Got to say Milan played a blinder today, and fully deserved his hat-trick, if not even more.

Excellent result - need to get some momentum up before we face the Arse in 2 weeks and wins like this push in the right direction

Sounded like a good game, can't wait to watch it on Sky tonight. I was well mad earlier as my phone updates said it ended 2-2. Then I found out via this thread it was 3-2. Not the best result, would have expected a better scoreline against a weakend Palace.

Good result today. Well done Milan and Kudos to Palace and Dowie - they have real heart.

he was very good today but how can we judge his loss of selfishness now he is prettymuch the lone striker?

Right up until Dowie wouldn't stop complaining about the penalties !!! I'm an not at all sure what he was on about - a good referee (when are we going to get one of those at Anfield cos neither Doud nor Rennie are) would have given us two more blatant ones as well.

As for the game - I thought Kewell played well considering the amount of slating he is getting at the moment. Getting the assist for our 2nd and 3rd.

On a side issue - and I just know I am going to get slated this - the number of goals Kirkland is conceding is a bit of concern But don't tell me ... it's not his fault right ?? But something tells me if Dudek had been in goal then it would be his fault.

give us a clue then as to which goals you reckon were his fault. the weak leak in that defence is josemi plain and simple.the guy is out of his depth.

I was thinking just this the other day. Kirkland hasn't done a lot wrong (haven't see the goals from yesterday though). Josemi is a liability - he looks good going forward but .... well

Josemi is all over the place at the moment and needs to be dropped or given some urgent 1 on 1 coaching on positioning. Every single team simply just attacks him if they are after 3 points, simple as that.

And WTF has Kirkland done wrong - had absolutely no chance on any goals yesterday nor just about any other goal he's conceded since his return.

And of course Josemi is not helped at all by the fact that our RM does not know how to defend !!!

When Josemi was playing behind Finnan at the start of the season he was playing fine.

To name but a couple - he was definitely at fault for at least one of Fulham's goals and one of Blackburn's goals (or are we going to use Josemi as the scapegoat again ??) and arguably could have done better for Palace's first.

My point was we have leaked 9 goals in the 10 games (four of which were against opposition which we could easily have kept clean sheets against) he has played since the Man U game but for some reason - unlike Dudek - Kirkland escapes all criticism
