Question DVD sound system upgrade questions

A couple of years back i bought my first player (used PC previous to that) which was an all in one Grundig home cinema system. Its multi region and includes a dobly digital decoder and speaker outputs. As a student I was (and still am) happy with it, having not previous had DD5.1 before thought it was great.

I got a job now, and a bit more cash so was thinking its possibly time to upgrade. My TV is decent and the player is ok, so i thought i'd sort out the sound now. So i was wondering if you can get a decent decoder/amp & speakers for around £200? Obviously i'd want it to do DTS.

What i'm wondering is if i only pay about £200 would i hear a noticeable improved difference over my dvd player decoder?

If people could recommend good sets/suppliers that would be great. cheers.
