Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle - Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Jack Black

The 'franchise' gets a reboot with Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan & Jack Black.

US Trailer:

International Trailer:

Looks like it could be fun, & at least they've taken a slightly different path to the original.

Quite like the original, this looks terrible but I suppose might be fun.

Completely agree, no need for a remake/reboot/ whatever anyway and then to rub salt into the wound they **** out something like this.

I like the idea of angsty teens being in those actors' bodies, but I'm assuming it isn't going to be that good.

Presumably Jack Black is there to stress the last word of every line as an alternative to being funny.

I've heard this is a sequel of sorts as apparently, they'll find a few items there that belonged to Alan Parrish (Robin Williams) whilst he was stuck in the world of Jumanji.

Looks fun enough. Good to see Karen Gillian not completely covered in blue.

Hacky Reboot 101 - Always have some minor nod to the original movie.

Sadly RW is no longer with us and nobody remembers anyone else in it, potentially one of the kids could be a teacher or something, but a pretty poor cameo. Ideally they'd have wanted him in line for a hot dog or talking about his experiences for a new book he'd written about the original Jumanji which could be on in the background.

Not hugely sure what was up with the board game premise.

The whole thing seems like a Star Trek holodeck episode where it goes wrong

Just back from seeing this ( preview weekend at Odeon and possibly other chains as well )

I went in with low expectations but it was much better than I was expecting. A couple of nice nods to the original as well.

Looking forward to seeing this. I don't have any emotional ties to the first film and was never really a Robin Williams fan.

In some territories, yes. It was called the Rundown in others.

Took the family to see it on Sunday, fun enough way to waste a couple of hours.

Got a little bored every so often, it is after all just a rather generic run of the mill Hollywood action/comedy. Maybe slightly above average. Ideal for a Christmas family film though.

The cast make it work.

I got this for my birthday the other week, and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of the film! Great fun all round.
