I'd just watched an episode of NCIS:LA before Eurovision came on so was a bit blown away when Kensi was undercover as a co-host.

This was one of the most dismal Eurovisions of recent memory imo, not nearly enough quirky acts but the right song won in the end imo, it was the only performance that would have been just as entertaining with the sound off!

I really wish you would limit your moronic political ramblings to that one thread in the general forums where the rest of us can safely ignore them! How the **** is he "closely linked" to Corbyn? He's an idiotic, deluded fanatic and conspiracy theorist who just happens to have a political viewpoint - a bit like you really but he probably has a better grip on reality.

The winner reminded me of Jim Sterling for some reason.

Not sure about the Jim Sterling resemblance but he probably would have done a better job commentating on the evening that Graham Norton, who I thought was pretty anonymous all night.

I think the sarcastic commentary is a little less needed nowadays, they don't seem to feel the need to say the same thing in French anymore. But Wogan used to be pretty woeful in the days when we weren't likely to win.

I always wonder if other countries have a similar commentator.

It's still preposterous enough and stiffly presented so still plenty to take the **** out of imo. We really shouldn't be taking it seriously... ever.
