Maybe they can't use it as they used in the sarah connor chronicles but the "will you join us?" t1000 rebels was such a great idea but fox killed the show

So much better than anything they have done with the films since T2. After 2 it went to ****

Yeah the series was really good, but it had Summer Glau in it so was doomed to be cancelled.

So its a sequel to T2 - Arnie destroys himself at the end of the film so who the hell is the old arnie in the trailer? It cant be William Candy as they are ignoring Terminator 3

A different Arnie who came back to an earlier time and waited in a shed getting old for them, with time travel it isn't gonna take much to write around every plot hole

It's certainly bad but no worse than Alita Battle Angel.

Spot the connection.

Based on the trailer only, this looks truly terrible. They just need to give up, accept that only the first 2 films are any good and stop trying to do anything more with the franchise.

Saw the trailer at last. Worse than terrible. The atmosphere seems so utterly unimaginative. I can see this going down the drain.

Yep. I can't help but agree with all of the above. That was nothing short of appalling. And that casting?! That new Terminator has about as much presence as a toilet seat. Looks shockingly poor.

At least that had some Style to it, Alita's face is deliberately 'uncanny' to a certain extent.... this is guy in a flannel shirt waving a metal stick, who's a real actor so they have a frame of reference. Plus, they could have just given the real guy a metal stick and dangle him from some wires! If they are going to deliberately burn money to make this move a CG shot, it had better be better than 2003 Keanu.

That flannel-shirted Terminator looks like he is suffering from a king-sized constipation.

Even setting aside the uncanny face, those Alita SFX were Playstation cut-scene bad.

Yeah but there's also astounding CGI work in Alita. The problem is that there's so much of it, and a lot of it is pushing the boundaries that you've got good and bad. That Terminator clip is simply a CGI person, been done to death in god knows how many films now, and while that sort of crap is rarely convincing, in that T6 trailer the CGI man is easily as bad as CGI Neo back in the Matrix sequels. It's like the last fifteen years od technical progression never happened.

That first shot of Linda Hamilton looks like some kind of cheesy cosplay.

The idea that a decent story can't exist without Arnie is bad enough, and now we're desperately dragging two of them back.

Apparently the plot has been leaked online and makes Genisys looks like a masterpiece of cinema.

Had a readthru and Genisys does seem to have the better plot. I bet 1p that this will have a dire opening even if the leaked plot is only half true.

Takes everything that made the first ones great and craps on it from a great height.
