Question Kill Bill's UK release date?

Does anyone know exactly when this comes out in the UK? I thought that it was October 17th for London, then October 24th nationwide (rather annoying that IMO -- surely it's too big a release to start that caper?).

Anyway, empireonline's release dates page says it's out here on October 10th, which is of course the US date also.

Anyone know for sure? Cheers.

25th Oct.

Edit...could be Oct 24th

Edit...actually it's the 24th Oct.

(just looking at some sites on the web just now).

Either way, it's late Oct. Previews possibly a few days earlier.

PS: This film should be awesome.

I also remember reading that Volume 2 got put back till February so that it could be considered for the 2005 Oscars. It has just checked this it's out February 20th.

Thanks for the replies: just found BVI's site here, which suggests it's on at the Empire Leicester Square from 10th Oct, nationwide from the 24th.

Excellent -- not long to wait at all!

Cheers Arch, worth enduring the crappy streaming video for that. Looks really great, every internet movie fan boy geeks wet dream!

Yuen Woo-ping and Sonny Chiba do the choreography, RZA does the sound track, I can't wait!

There was a free 'trailer' DVD with one of the Sunday papers last week [The Times???] and this was one of the ones on it. The audio is only in stereo [shows as 2.1 on my AV amp], but it's great to see this on my TV. The trailer at the cinema [before Blackball] looked sooooooooo good.
