Just bought a G9 with a leica 12-60 kit from Jessops with extra battery, battery grip, and a free 25mm f1.7 and warranty. Not sure anyone one would pay the £300 ish for the grip but as a package a good deal and 12m interest free.

Just need time to play!

Looks like a decent package. I'd be interested in how you get on with pixel shift.

The Pan Leica 12-60mm f2.8-4 is a superb lens. I have never owned it but played with it one day during a photo meet.

was answering a different question elsewhere, but shot 3 sets of snaps out of the back door - P-mode to compare Gx800, TZ80 and G9 - same rough snap at min-max zoom. Then size comparison of compacts.

I really like 4k Photo Mode on the Panasonics. It's like a superfast burst mode at 25fps. Gives you more chance of quality keepers when taking shots of bands at gigs. Would be good for wildlife and portraits I would imagine too.

Olympus have sold their imaging division
Looks like it's going to be owned by a private equity firm...they'll own the OM name but I don't see any details about future plans.

Looks like Olympus still have a roadmap so hopefully it will continue: https://www.digitalcameraworld.com/n...tware-and-more
