That would explain the bigger chichis, but the press would've been all over it long ago. Nah, it's just that throughout the series she displayed a penchant for hideous, ill-fitting, muffin top excentuating outfits (obviously trying to distract the eyes of strangers from her raggedy, greasy mop and beautiful complexion). Clearly winning and getting a stylist has done wonders for her as she looks fabulous now.

Are you insinuating that she used to wash her hair (and face) in her restaurant's deep fat fryer?

Holy thread resurrection time!! So after all the confusion regarding series 6 of The Apprentice, does anyone know for certain if it's starting late May - or if it's on at all this year?

Good question.

Wikipedia says

Quote:
It has been confirmed by the BBC that series 6 will not be shown in March 2010 (as originally scheduled), but will be delayed until the summer. This is to avoid a clash with the forthcoming general election as Sugar is the government's "enterprise champion". Although Sugar states that he does not view the position as partisan, the running of The Apprentice during the general election could be a "risk to impartiality".[63]

Karren Brady confirmed in a tabloid interview that the contestants no longer refer to Sir Alan Sugar as 'Sir Alan', but instead must call him 'Lord Sugar', following his ascension to the House of Lords.[64]

To date, contestants have been photographed: selling sausages at Leadenhall Market; selling muffins at The Angel; and filming at Terminal 5, Heathrow.[65][66]

Wasn't there something about if it was a hung parliament, then it might not be until even later this year like November? Can't remember why...

Yeah I remember reading it could be delayed even further because of a busy bbc schedule and assuming the hung parliament doesn't get resolved quickly...

unlikely though !

But isn't the whole series with the exception of the final, filmed months in advance anyway??? Edit: D'oh - I just read the last part of Mr Silly's post.

Anyone been watching the US Celebrity Apprentice? Pretty tedious stuff as the tasks don't seem to be doing normal stuff like selling hot-dogs or what not, it's a if they're given tasks that keep them away from the general public?!

At least it'll give them time to find a replacement for "Cabbage Patch Kid"-faced Chiles on You're Fired.

The first few were public related. I still enjoy it as much as the UK version. Never heard of him before, but would be amazed if Curtis Stone doesn't win it (probably beating the annoying Holly Thingummybob Whatsamacallit in the final). Initially it seemed like Sharon Osbourne was favourite, but half the time she does nothing and the other half she's ill.

Personal pick would be Maria though.

I think Sharon will be thrown out to be honest. She has only done cameos to be honest.

Cyndi Lauper (one of my faves ) seems nuts and I'd hate to have to work with her.

Curtis Stone won't win. Can't have a pesky foreigner winning 2 years on the trot

'Lord Sugar'

Sounds like a 90s ragga artist.
