Morrison's Bread Advert

Just seen this and spotted where the bread is lifted off the shelf, but you can see and hear it is a perspex box

And then he proceeds to pretend to eat a chunk of bread and the loaf is intact

Erm, he's removing the "nostalgia" filter off the camera, not taking bread off a shelf! duh!

Gotta laugh at the line, "there was a time you could get that on almost every street". Indeed you could, before the supermarkets came along and shut down all the town's bakers! Supermarkets, I ruddy hate them!

And I do believe he is going up the street from Ridley Scott's famous Hovis advert when he says that line too

I hate chavs that eat stuff in supermarkets, like that oirish oaf is doing at the end.

And I've never seen bakery ladies look as slim and decent as the one in that ad that gives him the disapproving look.

Looks as though he's picked a wee bit of the crust off to eat. You can see it as a light coloured bit on the loaf.

That's 0/2, Barney.
