No, you quickly filter out noise, especially in a film where they use morse code but forget to actually make it intelligable - just a random stream of dots and dashes.

Looks like its been dumped for President Obama - A Newsnight Special; and I cannot see it replaced anywhere else. Autumwatch was on at 8pm and got pushed back and filled the TG spot.

oh for ***** sake the repeat isn't on. Deliberatley didn't watch on Sunday so I could watch with my kid tonight. No apology either.
You'd think this American election snuck up on them. It's not as though they forgot to cover it last night and so need an extra program tonight.

All that morse code info is fascinating. Top work.

Edit: that reads sarcastic it's not meant to, cheers Dodgy.

I thought for a minute the BBC had pulled the repeat because of Jezza's trucker quip. Wouldnt have surprised me either the spineless halfwits!

I remember watching it on Sunday thinking how the hell can anyone interpret that at that speed?

And you're saying that was SLOW?

Fair play, Dodgy!

I googled "Top Gear more code" and this thread came up second. I should have looked here first. They're a smashing lot, these DVDF members. Cheers Dodgy

Annoyed that the repeat was cancelled, was looking forward to that (as my Sky box once again screwed up a recording, the thing barely works TBH, missed three or four things since Sunday for no reason, it just decided not to record them), I assume it's because of the "offensive" comment?

No - it's because of the election result.

Well at least the papers arn't running with it anymore, so it should all die down now.

Glad to see RB go but was no-plussed about JR staying or leaving.

No one mentioned the comment on Stig yet either ?

"Some say he's had full sex with Russel Brands answerphone"

Quality show. Yes its soooo scripted and soooo staged and soooo predictable but hey its bloody good entertainment.

Love it !

The MP for Ipswich is moaning about Clarkson saying that he should be fired for making light of murder. I don't recall Clarkson specially mentioning the Ipswich murders; maybe I was watching a different show.
