You can do what you want on a private track really, and they have an ambulance ready at all times. You could see it in the background of the section where they cleared the road.

Didn't think it was that good of an episode, the stars in the reasonably priced car was dire still.

i know they can do pretty much anything they like legally, was thinking more in terms of their personal injury insurance - must be a hefty bill for that. Although i'm sure as you say they take all sorts of safety precautions that we don't see. But if the spiky wheel had been going a bit faster and a little further left there could easily have been some broken legs i reckon.
Thank god someone is stupid enough to insure them though or it would just be another boring program reviewing cars i'll never be able to afford.

Its up now guys, I've just watched it.

Okayish start but I reckon they'll be better episodes than this. The police bit was rather funny. For some reason I cracked up when they arrived at the accident.

Me too - I think it was Clarkson hitting May's car (like he always does) that did it.

I spent most of the interview segment looking at girl behind them with the short brown hair. Talk about gorgeous.

Highlights: Hammond's salon car, Captain Slow's Ice Cream siren, and Clarkson goatse-ing the audience.
