Thanks. It's for my mum, she wanted a Beatles one and I don't think I'm infringing any copyright if it's not being sold. If it is then I don't care

I've put the 'blues' one on ebay to test the water. I'm nervous!

Have you had a go at making full 6-string versions?

I bought a couple of 6 string necks at the start and used them, but I've never made a 6 string neck from scratch. I'll do it sometime. I also want to try a 2 string, 4 string and a dulcimer.

Finished this one at the weekend...

That's exactly a year since I started, and I've made 29 guitars and a stomp box during that time. Some good ones, some not so good, but they are improving. Still enjoying it just as much as I did at the start.

Moved onto single coil pickups now. This one has tone and volume controls and screws for fret markers...

Thanks Nutter

Made my first sale on eBay last week, the guy was very happy with his guitar. It was a relief that it got to him safely and he liked it. Onwards and hopefully upwards!

Built this at the weekend, sounds sweet too. Fretted neck this time and a piezo rod pickup. I'm calling it the bluesbox! You also get to see my socks...

Love your work with these guitars. Have you ever thought about exhibiting them? What are the tunings, are they all tuned the same, open tunings? or are some different?

I asked that earlier in the thread:

I was looking at maybe a craft fair or something similar. Yeah open tuning mostly but there are other tunings you can use, one I made recently is G-G-B (same tuning as Seasick Steve uses on his transwonder guitar), and there are jazz tunings and all sorts of weird stuff. The beauty of these things is there are no set rules for tunings or building the things themselves.

Had a request for another Beatles guitar, acoustic again but this time fretted...

Also sold another on ebay last week too. All the money just goes straight into making more though.

I had a really burst up cigar box so decided to fix it up to make this acoustic. The box is so thin and has a crack along the lid. Did a decent job of tidying it up though...
