Cheers! Unfortunately (in terms of this offer), I'm almost bang up to date with my Criterion orders. However, unless CD Wow have actually shipped them, I may be able to cancel "Mon Oncle Antoine" and "Trafic", and get them from DD.

EDIT: 8 minutes later, CD Wow confirmed cancellation, so here we go to DD!

EDIT No 2: Deep Discount are still calculating shipping costs on the pre-discount total, so shipping for "Mon Oncle Antoine" and "Trafic" was $12.95, instead of $8.95, but still a good deal (approx £11.50 each).

It says free shipping at the top. Does that count for both and will it apply for UK?

If not, would this go over the customs limit?

Postage cost is not included in the declared amount. In fact DeepDiscount have never displayed the postage amount in my orders from them. So as along as you keep your order value below $35.25 (excluding postage) you should be safe. In fact DeepDiscount normally round down the declared value to the nearest $, so you will probably be safe up to $35.99

Provided it clears through customs in the next two weeks.

It won't; my stuff's been taking about four weeks from Deep Discount.

The exchange rate for August applies (which HMCR have not yet published).

Did you manage to get Tati's TRAFIC as part of the offer then?

The code does not work for me when I include this title (a new release, not on the offer page). It's not to be confused of course with TRAFFIC, another Criterion release.

... and you expect HMCR's Aug 08 rate will mean $35 > £18?
(since DD will declare $35.XX as just $35)

That's what I did. How annoying. Ah well, another one for Amazon Marketplace, in due course.

There's a comment over on AVforums abot this. If you email DeepDiscount about this overcharge on pastage for an order they will refund it you

Good tip on the refund. Even without it, 6 $40 and 4 $30 Crits for less than $200 shipped is a good deal. Having said that Parcelfarce just raped me on charges for the stuff from the 20% sale but I’m hoping the out of stock status on most of these means they’ll all ship seperately. Shame Small Back Room isn’t included (not out until mid-Aug).

Thanks. In fact, I'd already emailed them on 4 orders as a result of discussion on thecriterionforums. Three of the refunds have already been credited to my cc account.

Quick bump as this offer ends today; went for Pierrot le fou and Two lane blacktop - glad I held off from buying them when they first came out!

Thanks to OP
