The Dresden Files series one (spoilers)

That's an hour of my life wasted. Anybody else?

It was ok, probably needs to find it's feet though as it is quite an unusual concept.

Certainly didn't live up to the interesting premise. Will give it another 2-3 episodes.

I quite enjoyed it actually. It's a really interesting concept and if done correctly could turn out to be excellent show, but if not handled well it could turn out to be pretty bad....

Slightly better episode this week. Still very predictable & offers nothing new to the genre, but at least it had more of the cute female detective this time.

More improvement over previous episodes this week, but not by much. At least we get to see Dresden actually do some cool Wizardry. CGI werewolves are never good & this was no exception. I'm gonna give this show one more episode before deciding on ditching it.

I've read most of the books and they're good fun. Best one I can remember involved reanimating a T-Rex from a museum to fight an army of zombies

I'll watch ep1 tonight to see how well it translates.

Well glad I'd read the books because they certainly didn't attempt to explain much about anyone/anything except his childhood (which is only touched upon in the books).

The actors seem ok though so I'll stick with it. The books start out pretty slow on the magic front but in the later ones he gets much more powerful and starts throwing cars about etc so fingers crossed for the series.

I am undecided about this but as it was the opening episode I am prepared to give it a few more episodes as the opening one didn't really work for me that well.

Just finished watching the fourth episode & it's still all so very average & done before better. Even a poor episode of the likes of Angel, rates much better than this. I was going to call it quits but then I saw the trailer for next week's episode & it looks like it has some decent action & some hints to Dresden's past.

EP5 was better i think theres a gap for this as i don't think there mush else like it on the air at the moment.

IS this gonna have a full season or is it gonna do an EYES on me

By the way might as well change the title of the thread can't see there being a thread for each ep might aswell make it for the whole season.
