The latest rumours are saying he'll just be providing a voice over for the series.

Which I think is entirely plausible.

Can't really see him being that interested actually playing the role itself.

Yeah, I've heard it's going to be a young Loki show.

Young Loki in the comics is actually a pretty decent character so fingers crossed.

I believe they should have killed off the first gen heroes in avengers, then it would be more believable. as some of the actors may want to move onto other things or contract negotiations getting more expensive. As rightly mentioned as soon as they killed off spidey/BP you knew they weren't staying dead.

I think that'll be the upshot of Endgame

My biggest gripe is in the trailer, showing the passport at 0:37. Why go to the trouble of showing the detail, but not provide any years in the dates, thus making it pointless. Expiry of '18 JUL' ? Its like when they show newspaper articles, but all the paragraphs are the same paragraphs, just copied and pasted...
/nitpicking rant over...

Looks like the setup for Secret Wars in some way will be a thing.... Seems logical to pull the X-Men/Fantasic Four and Deadpool from the multiverse instead of trying to explain why they've not been seen in the MCU before.

And Bring back Tobey Maquire as Spiderman and ditch this spider runt.

Setting this just after Endgame better show the effects of the returning population (it probably won't)

I liked Toby Maguire, but I think Tom Holland is very good as Spider-Man.

I'm guessing all those people talking about multi verses have never read a comic with mysterio in then?

I haven't watched the trailer because they tend to give too much away, but Tom Holland says it's one not to watch before you've seen Endgame, as contains spoilers for the Avengers movie.

Rewatched the Toby Maguire spiderman film recently and he is bad and cringy, especially emo spiderman from 3. Holland is doing a good job as the new spiderman

Bit surprised Tom holland does not give any spoilers during that trailer

The symbiote made him worse; it was never going to make him super cool and confident because peter was never that to begin with.

God damn, they saved something good for the mid credits scene here.

Absolutely.

Very good overall I thought. Some nice nods to
at the beginning and a few belly laughs throughout.

Saw this this afternoon and it was a much, much better film than Homecoming but it didn't really feel like a Spider-man film.

Great set pieces and great acting (from Tom Holland and Jake Gyllenhal in particular). Couple of iffy effects throughout the film and one or two cringy bits of dialogue here and there.

The mid-credits scene was brilliant. Great to see

I'm assuming the after-credits scene was teasing

Saw this today. Enjoyed it but it was a mish-mash of a lot of different movie genres - it came out something like Ferris Bueller's Spiderman.

I thought this was a very good film, not perfect but very good. Certainly 100x better than the last X-Men film. I liked that the trailer doesn't spoiler the story path at all and I also really like the awkwardness of the romance element. Jon Favreau was really good in this as well but he really needs to lose some weight! He used to be in really good shape when he was younger.
