Does Jedi have a high likelihood of selling out like the original? IIRC the Empire one has always been available.

I'm tempted to order the Star Wars one now (as I missed out first time) and reading it before, finally, reading the Empire one I bought for a tenner two years ago. Once I'm done with both, I can then order Jedi.

Doubtful (any time soon anyway).

The first edition of The Making of Star Wars was by a different publisher to the other 2 (Ebury Press. Empire, Jedi & the new edition of Star Wars are from Aurum Press), so that might have been why it went OOP.

Buy them now anyway. Give yourself an early Xmas pressie! £19.73 each for Star Was & Jedi is a bargain for what you get.

Having said that, Jedi seems to have been pulled from Amazon's listings as

All three books are now on iTunes with enhanced material. Each book has approx half an hour of behind the scenes video, most of which has never been seen before. Audio interviews and even more pictures.

Am considering whether to go for the iTunes or kindle enhanced version as both just over £10. From the samples the iTunes one has more zoom able stuff, all the pictures and illustrations unlike the kindle. May explain why its a 1.3gb file compared to 350mb.

Has anyone bought either to comment. Have tried the samples just interested in a users view.

1.3gb! I'd that per book? Maybe the iPad versions have higher quality video and jpgs due to the screen resolution. I have the kindle versions and there about 500mb each.

I'm tempted, but the video stuff will leak online sooner or later so I'm holding fire for now.

Gah I got the Empire Strikes Back book for Christmas so I thought I'd get the others. Added them to my basket yesterday and went to order them today only to find they'd gone up £5 each!
Hopefully it's just a blip and they'll go down again. The Terminator version has also gone up

Got Star Wars Storyboards: The Original Trilogy, in the week.
It's a great companion book to these 'Making of" books.

£22.50 at Amazon, but only £13.55 at Speedy Hen

Can you give us a quick review? Is the book literally just storyboards or is there plenty of write ups to explain what your looking at?

The book is set out with the story boards in order that they appear in the film, so kind of like reading the film as a comic strip. There are some comments about different sketches, but it's not really a text heavy book. The set out is great and for the price Speedy Hen are doing it at and if you like the other books it really is a great buy IMO.
