Ah, one of those episodes edited to make the winners look utterly shambolic and the losers merely crap.

OMG, that Siobhan! What an awful, awful woman. Deliberately antagonistic - no wonder the girls look like they want to lamp her.

Is she really going for the Hopkins role? Maybe we'll see Siobhan troll the UK public on LBC or in the Daily Mail in the future?

I presume she'll be in for 'good telly' reasons.

She says: 'I fly aeroplanes, scuba dive, jump off cliffs, paraglide; I’m a blogger and a mother - as well as running my wedding planning business. A lot of people call me superwoman.'

A lot == herself

This is the first season I have watched. Am presuming it is staged or they film stuff again after it's happened "live".

For instance the candy floss they where selling in bags had hardly any in it, there is no way people where paying Ł4 for it.

Why the need to keep writing down in the pad what they where taking in on the stalls, do you think they are not actually taking money but if someone agrees to buy it, they mark it down and give it them free? That would explain them writing everything down instead of just counting the money at the end.

To me it looks like a group of thick people that have very little idea on what they are doing.

You don't need to go back and watch any of the previous series. That's basically all it is!

You've summed it up nicely.

I presume they make notes so they can gang up on someone for selling the least.

Two winners?

It's now sort of turned into a dragons den type thing, the whole series is just a waste of time, it's just if Sir Alan feels like robbing half your business.

You might want to Spoil that just incase someone is bothered.

Didn't understand the final at all. The task should have been "show me what you are going to do with my 250k". Not a load of made up things that are never going to happen. Why would she want to change the name of her 7 year old established company? She said the money was being used to expand her current business (website and stuff).

One thing that has always bugged me is the phone call in the morning and then they have 20 minutes to get ready. There is no way they are getting ready and out the door fully made up in 20 minutes!

Will still watch the next series as it's entertainment I suppose.

Yeah the website thing is a complete disaster and should have put Sugar off completely. You can make an e-commerce website out of the box from Wix etc in about 5 minutes.

That comes up every year... Show me a woman that can get ready like that in 20mins. My old house mate IF she rushes, it takes her 45mins.. She doesnt like to rush though so generally its 90mins including 30 mins for 1/2 cups of Coffee and a Smoke before she does anything..

There was an episode last series of "the cars will collect you in 20 minutes" and the call came at "6am", but in the car, when the guys were wobbling on about "beating the girls", the watch on one of the guys showed half nine...
Always interesting to look at wrists ... the boardroom does literally take several hours - I assume various retakes!

Poor work from the production team, they'd normally make them take the watches off for such things

They have to keep writing everything down as it goes back to base and the filming production manager to collate the results once the day is over..(I know as I was one on last years series), that is the record of what as been sold to be compared to the monitored results by the production team. Receipts if you will...

And the restricted use of the phone.
Let's be honest, both teams would be making multiple calls to each other.
But nope, you make your 30 second phone call and forgot to tell the sub team something important, but they can't use the phone again.

I do still watch it, but I will admit, I'm not really enjoying it as much as I used to.
Not sure if it's just me, or the show has got worse over the years.

there's a subtle difference to your quote and what we actually hear the caller say - they actually (usually) say "the cars will be leaving in 20 minutes". so perhaps the cars do leave (their base) in 20 minutes but don't get to the house for half an hour after that, then sit out front for an hour or so.

I agree, though, it is false drama and on the whole unnecessary although I suppose "the cars will be with you in 90 minutes" doesn't imply any sense of urgency.

The problem is that the world has wised up and moved on from this kind of induced drama. We see through it. Like the rest of this show.

I've never felt that Sugar was any good at this anyway. Trump may be the worst president in the history of independence, but he was very good at The Apprentice.
