Crikey, Disney’s new service must be hot stuff if it’s having that effect!

I finished Season 2 this week. I liked the first two episodes, but the Russo/Jigsaw storyline ruined things...it dragged on and on and was quite dull. It felt like a 7 episode show stretched out to 13 (although I feel the same about most of the Marvel Netflix shows). It's a shame as I like Bernthal a lot in the role.

I'm still plodding through S2 & watched ep.10 at the weekend & completely agree that it is ridiculously dragged out with numerous dull, navel-gazing scenes & just the occasional splash of uber-violence to wake you up...

I agree with that, but did enjoy it overall.

The issues I have with series, and the first, is that injuries don't last - Frank broke his hand in the first episode! While they get slowed down, the main protagonists just carry on, like one punch to the face with a knuckle duster is a light tickle!

Billy's motivation doesn't make sense, he was emotionally reset to a time before he turned bad and was best friends with Frank and his family, yet when he was finally told why Frank hurt him, having betrayed him and murdered his family, it literally had no impact on Billy.

I found a similar issue with Iron Fist
