To be fair to BT, it was only Hoddle, who as an ex-Spurs player and manager was understandably gutted.
It's also one of those that doesn't get given in the Prem, but does every time in the Champions League

I agree, neither Kane or Firmino looked match sharp, Klopp took Firmino off after 57 minutes and his replacement scored with the best strike of the match.

I don't think anyone looked match sharp, but I agree that Kane and Firmino were way off, more than anyone else.

Terrible game but a fair result. Spurs were dreadful

The 3 week break killed any chance of the game being a spectacle

And the heat. The game just didn’t have any tempo.

Still, a great way to cap an amazing season. Get in.

I didn't like the penalty. Too reminiscent of the 5-a-side trick of flicking the ball up at your oppositions b******ks deliberately.

Club World Championship will now take place next season after all. LFC are off to Qatar in December

As if they don’t play enough games during a season anyway. Will make the fixture list for December interesting.

Edit: I think you go in at the semi final stage so possibly only an extra 2 games.

I see getting a CL Final ticket in the ballot gets you priority, for the Super Cup, over the other 20k+ people who weren't successful in the ballot.

Not sure if that is fair or not.

Same level of success in the bun fight - oops, members general sale - as usual for my son's membership card

In other words none - just the joy of watching the games sell out whilst waiting in the queue

Not really looking forward to the lesser bun fight, on Monday, that is the Charity Shield ticket sale for all remaining season ticket holders ( who haven't already qualified ) either.

The best part of an hour wait in the queue but ... getting a ticket was easy enough once in

So that clip which showed City had 3 on one when Sterling scored ... let's just forget that all 3 of them were offside 2 seconds earlier enabling them to in that position

Complete joke the offside rule these days

Very odd we haven't bought anyone of note in this window.Expected to see a top class 4th forward to rotate with the regular three, left back cover and a creative midfielder.i guess despite being European champs the purse strings have tightened despite what Klopp says.

Agree with that. Hopefully we won't regret letting Wilson go out on loan again and they seem to be pinning quite a lot on the Ox and Lallana getting back to their pre-injury form.

If I had been in charge, I would have taken a gamble on free agent Wellbeck as well. Still you never know ... the football gods may well have appeared to Klopp and Edwards in dreams last night and convinced them both that the club should be all over Ł65M for Dybala

Straight forward start last night, a bit sloppy at the back for sure and Alison getting crocked is a big blow.
