I'm enjoying playing it, but does TTR:E crash constantly for anyone one?

Yes! Pocket seems a lot better but neither have been updated in ages.

I saw people complaining about the crashes in the app store reviews too. I suppose it's too much to hope for a fix given that neither TTR app has been updated since 2012. 16:9 and retina support wouldn't go amiss either! Not to mention 6/6 plus...

It told me I finished third when I came second? Also it crashes far too much, couldn't open it at all sometimes.

That's odd. The scores were different too. I just checked it again it matches your screenshot. :-/

I can't head around Agricola either, only tried to play the iOS version though.

I did kind of grasp it, but only the basic rules and I found it frustrating as it is impossible to do everything and I couldn't settle on a proper strategy and area to focus on. It is another game I do intent to revisit at some point though.

Another game I've had from launch when it was still a paid app, and barely played until yesterday is Ascension. Anyone up for that too?

Other iOS board games I've bought and like an idiot hardly or sometimes have never played include Puerto Rico, San Juan, Stone Age, Mr Jack Pocket, and Le Havre. Perhaps I should stick to games I'm familiar with on the tabletop in future.

Give the solo series a go on Agricola. Helps with developing basic strategy without getting done in by the bots .

I got done by the bots when completing the tutorial game on Waterdeep earlier!

I don't have either of those. Tempted by Agricola though, so I may be up for a game of that at some point.

Close for three of you, not so much for me! I spent too much time trying to share/steal other people's cities rather than concentrating on my own. Guess that backfired!

Anyone up for Ascension?

I'd be up for regular non-crashy TTR, or Carcassone with an expansion. Haven't got Ascension.

If it makes any difference, Ascension is a free app now.

I'd still play the odd game but I am a little Carcassonne-ed out at the moment. I'm certainly up for more TTR though. What about playing simultaneously on iPad / Steam if there are enough of us and we can find a suitable time?

I'll have a go at Ascension since it's free but it'll have to wait until I can download it at home later.
