Just finished watching the last one, and I was left with the same feeling I often get from watching the Monaco Grand Prix.
That is, it was fake excitement.
In Monaco, the cars are close together, weaving around, trying to overtake, and it could happen at any second! But the reality is that they can't overtake, and the race is usually pretty dull on reflection.
Same thing with Sherlock's last episode. Lots of exciting, tense scenes with moral dilemmas! What's going to happen? Will they really pull the trigger?
Turned out, exactly what I thought, and I'm usually rubbish at predicting anything in TV shows and films. One of the great things about putting characters in extreme situations is playing with how they cope, but in this case, no one did anything unexpected.

I honestly thought that when Sherlock smashed up the coffin he would secretly take the brass name plate, stick it in the top pocket of Mycroft or Watson, then when he shot them the metal would stop the bullet (enough) and they'd live (and then sneak off to help defeat the sister (somehow)).

They should get you writing the scripts as that's much better than anything they did do in the show

That would be too cunning, it's all about emotions and humanity now apparently

Halfway thru the last one and dont know if I can make it, its bloody awful.

The bloke that plays moriarty must be very good pals with Gattiss, he cant act for toffee. He has the sort of face you want to kick.

Hope this is the last.

The 3rd is definitely the weakest of the 3. I watched all 3 in 12 hrs.

I'm a big fan of the character Jim Moriarty. He is all I liked from the last episode of Sherlock (the final problem). Really they turned this series into a stupid little show. I expected more from it.

And the bad part is, they are still keep going. There's gotta be something about Sherlock and Molly Hooper.

Is there another Sherlock special this Christmas/New Year.

I am sure The Times said there is in an interview with Mark Gattis, yesterday, but I can't see any mention of it in listings
