First four done and it's still great stuff although my memory must be terrible because I don't remember the Lost style character flashbacks at all but apparently they were in season 1 as well? Ha.

Yep - watched the first two last night too. Excellent stuff. Hate the opening credits though - long, boring with a crap song.

Loving Captain Janeway.

8 episode down, and loving every minute!

Makes me feel like re-watching the whole lot from the first season.

Yes. They covered Alex, Red, Sophia and a few others.

They sure were, though I prefer to think of them as 'Oz' style flashbacks.

I've finally got my wife watching this, just so I can get time to watch the second series once she has watched the first one. It's like I did with Breaking Bad, I got her to watch the first episode and she's instantly hooked. I did warn her about
in the first episode though .

I might watch the first episode of the new one though, just so I can find out what happens to Piper.

Watched them all over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. There's so many storylines going on and while I don't find the whole Red rivalry and Diya/Bennett storyline particularly enthralling, it all feeds in to comedic moments later on and does not take over the flow of the show. The final episode is very amusing with
and sets up for a great 3rd season.

Favourite characters this season were Mirello and Crazy Eyes. They did very well at developing the other characters more with less emphasis on Piper.

Iirc there's a few differences like the whole 'Alex' in jail thing never happened in reality.

Solid season so far... 5 episodes in. Hoping it doesn't become like Weeds though. They had great characters but there wasn't much 'growth' in them after a few seasons. It coasted for a long time before they killed it off.

Liking new character Soso though... far from so-so! (obvious joke is obvious)

I couldn't figure out who Red was and it has been doing my head in for ages.

Great series. I struggled with it at first but I love it now.

I skip the opening title sequence on every one. Far too long and bloody awful music.

Great second series, not upto the heights of season 1 IMHO but still better than most stuff i've watched lately. Brilliant end to the series as well ( "always so rude that one" ) lol

Agreed, needed to be a little bit more claustrophobic like the first season. It started well in the other prison, but there was almost too much back story, or outside narrative, and I missed the Alex Vause dynamic too.

I was reading that the Alex storyline was marginalised because Laura Prepon could only be in 4 episodes due to scheduling conflicts, however she's planned to be in all of the season 3 episodes :-)

Blitzed through both seasons in the last couple of weeks - really enjoyed it and already looking forward to season 3 (after a long wait!).
