Best bit IMO was Barry (Poo)peas talking about the Olympic opening ceremony.

The whole thing is just very very good satire, properly had me a laughing out loud at times which is rare for most "comedy" these days.

Think I saw a tweet from him saying a new Wipe series in about 4 weeks. Which is a good thing.

Yes, was trying to explain that to my friend at work this morning but couldn't remember who he was a spokesperson for.

He was a Dutch MP in charge of making sure the Russian elections were fair.

Yep, new Weekly Wipe show

http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2012-...y-wipe-on-bbc2

Sounds good, only bad thing is that it's just six episodes

I didn't think this was one of Brooker's best shows but I loved his comment that calling Batman "the Dark Knight" didn't give him any more gravitas than calling Papa Smurf "the Blue Patriarch".

"It's a kids show" followed by the clip of Adam West on a jetty not knowing how to safely dispense with the cartoon bomb:LOL:

The worst bits of Brooker for me are when they air clips of TV shows I don't watch that remind me why I don't watch much "conventional entertainment" anymore.

OTOH started laughing from the dancing ?Korean? bit.I couldn't stop after that.

btw It's still on iplayer

I found the same, there were quite a few he featured that made me think exactly the same, utter tripe by the look of it.

For me, Brooker is a busted flush these days. Not many laughs in this.

I agree the impact of his style has worn off somewhat, but there's still some good stuff within.

Really enjoyed it.

Echoing comments about shows I don't watch, The Valleys? OMG!

Loved the US footage about the Costa Concordia - a 'real life Titanic'!!

That Jesus talent show thing was the biggest WTF?? moment for me. That was seriously on ITV1?

The Last Supper complete with Amanda "slap face" Holden? Mind boggling
