Word is that Brian and Roger are currently Queen-y-fying the Freddie and Michael Jackson tracks for release. And there is a project called 'Forever Queen' due out at the end of the year which is shrouded in secrecy. So there might be some more 'Queen' to come before the rest the project once and for all.
That would be quite an interesting project, replacing the synths with proper instruments.

If they did the same thing to Hot Space it would probably make for something pretty impressive!

I searched the house last night for my "big book version" and the damn thing has got 2 discs missing (The Great Pretender CD and the video DVD). I am going to have to search the house again now

I am sure I also had "The Freddie Mercury Album" but can't seem to find that either.

Mr Bad Guy does have some very good stuff on it - Love me like there's no tomorrow is brilliant and I still listen to Time & In My Defence more than is probably healthy.

Maybe it's just a sign of old age but ...

Just talking about it at work, was anyone else shocked when that documentary pointed out how just long Freddie has been dead for

They way it was worded stunned me...it was something along the lines of 'Freddie has been dead as long as he was performing in Queen'

It was something like "Queen are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year, which is surprising as Mercury - their lead singer - has been dead for half of that"

I listened to the bonus tracks on Spotify today, the guitar version of Don't Stop Me Now is fantastic. The rest of the tracks are a bit of a mixed bag, especially since I've heard (and owned) such a large percentage of them before. A Human Body still sounds like a vinyl rip for some reason.

I'm not sure about the guitar version of DSMN. Can't help doubting the authenticity of it - Brian May already says he hates the song and now it turns up with guitars muddying sound of the piano. Hmmm.

The highlight for me so far has been the no synths version of Football Fight. Agree about A Human Body - the bootlegs are the same quality. Were the bonus songs remastered at all?

I would hope so. The tracks on the bonus disc of Queen II sounded immense and of a far higher quality than I'd heard them before. Forgot about the Football Fight version on here, I was impressed with that too, and I always was a big fan of Feelings, Feelings.

What you said about the guitar on Don't Stop Me Now never ocurred to me, and now you've got me wondering!

Meh. Some of that 'bonus' content was on the original CDs! More Live At Wembley stuff

Very dissapointing. They really do hate their fans, don't they.

These are the worst of the lot, aren't they? They'll presumbly looking to fleece us for the real rarities later.
