Will has done nothing for anyone and is not remotely likeable at all, has no charisma nothing...

Even Grant helped out druggie girl with her filing, and he's far less likeable than Will.

In other news, a casting call in Backstage magazine indicates this may have been renewed for a second season : http://www.tv.com/rubicon-news-and-e...6.html?print=1

Yeah and i enjoy it.

What the hell has Will done for anyone, or makes him remotely likeable?

Almost all other characters are more interesting and likeable than him, even the pointless Maggie.

Why be predictable like every other show in the world & have a likeable hero with a personality? ... I'm more than happy with Will's character & how he's being played.

I don't find him particularly likeable or unlikeable tbh, he's just a regular guy - albeit one who has suffered a personal tragedy and has become introverted and socially awkward. Because of this he's self involved and ergo prone to selfishness and appearing callous, but he's clearly not a dick - and yes we have seen him act selflessly; firstly and foremostly in what is the whole motivation for the damn show: Trying to discover the truth behind his stepfather and mentor: David Hadas' death.

He also stepped back and didn't push Ed Bancroft when he realised their investigation was tipping him over the edge, plus he gave Hadas' motorbike to his son on good faith that he was the rightful owner despite there being some form of tense history between the two. I'm sure there are more examples but these are all that come to me off the top of my head (I wont use his recent dumping of Andy as an example as no doubt Jez considers that just another selfish act rather than him pushing her away because of the obvious immediate threat of being around him).

If Will Travers was the man Jez describes him as there would be no show. He would have just shrugged off Hadas' death and carried on with his blissfully self-centred life.

Well I quite liked the way they (sort of) wrapped things up. This has probably been my favourite new show this year and I really hope they give it a second season.

There damn well better be a second season after that "finale". I physically cried out "Noooooooooooooooooo!" when it finished abruptly leaving a zillion unanswered questions & no resolution.

However, it takes a great show to make me so emotional & this was a fantastic series. Slow-burner, very understated (the reveal of a certain character during the finale was a fine example of this,
) ... ultimately, a breath of fresh air after having to sit through multiple seasons of frantic, over-the-top tv thrillers like 24.

Please, please PLEASE give us a 2nd season.

just watched the final ep - a really good series - sad to see it end

don't like the idea of a second season with separate stories - one of the reasons this has been so good is the slow, gradual buildup of the one story

I'd like it to either not return and leave it as it is, or continue the same story, but perhaps having 'another layer' to the plotline (perhaps the 'baddies' have bosses themselves)

Spangler rocks!

I would love to work at API

Really enjoyed this, slow start... actually it's quite slow throughout, but I got through it all which is quite rare for me (struggling with The Event atm).
I just wish it was shown later than 8PM in the US though. The relationship tension between Will and the sexy receptionist really needed to be paid off with some cheb action!

Next to Boardwalk Empire, it's the best new show of 2010 for me...

what a fab series that has been. Nice change of pace to all the high octane stuff coming out and something that's definitely left me wanting more. So probably not going to get another series because it was too good hehehe.

Gutted, but only because I think someone in here posted that a 2nd season was looking secure towards the end of the season and I got my hopes up! You only have to watch one episode of the show to know it wasn't going to last more than a couple of seasons tops, it doesn't have the glamour of Mad Men or the "cool" edginess and melodrama of Breaking Bad.

As I haven't got round to watching this yet, is it worthwhile without a 2nd season, does the single season stand up on it's own or am I going to end up with loads of plot points unfinished and just annoying me?

Very disappointed but was inevitable after the dreadful ratings.
