Derren Brown The Gathering on C4 now (Fri 9pm)

I'm sure I'm seeing words flashing up on screen very occasionally, subliminal-like. Am I imagining this? Isn't this illegal?

Sure I just saw "FORGET" ...

I missed the first few minutes in case they explained they were going to do this.

I saw that too! Just as the girl that thought of an old friend walked off the stage.

It was the girl that had to think of a name - thought of Barnes.

I guess it's to do with him trying to make the audience forget the show.

Oh, then. I read your post wrong and thought I'd 'Forgotten' a bit of the show!

Did you see the message that popped up that said 'start a thread about this on the dvdforums'? There are rules on short messages like this but the very fact you noticed it means it must have been long enough.

Besides this show was already shown yonks ago, wouldn't have been repeated if there was a problem.

The "forget" message was projected on the stage with a spot + gobbo.
You are not allowed to insert message frames but you can obviously film real events otherwise any news program with a van going passed would be subliminally advertising what was on the van!
