Thumbs up [More4] The Daily Show - Weeknights at 8.30

Can't believe that no one has mentioned that The Daily Show with Jon Stewart will be shown weeknights at 8.30 on More4! No more watching the CNN Global edition (Thats if I managed to set the SKY+ box to record) now I can see it in its entirety every night!

I'm looking forward to it as well - have only ever seen it a few times before, but thought it was great each time

I love watching Jon Stewart, I get a friend to send copies from the States.

One question though.....where on earth do I find More4 ? is it on Sky EPG ? I can't find it and I also want to record that thing about Blunket.

Ugh, thanks to the horrible CNN version I've had to get this via other means. One time I was watching the show and when it went to adverts it never came back! CNN just started to show something completely different. Not only that but most of the time they just never broadcast it anyway.

It's an excellent show though, and it really deserves watching.

Really good news, I religously watch this and it deserves a wider audience in the UK.
Anyone know hold the episodes they'll show will be? It is shown in the US and UK on Mon-Thu nights, so obviously the episode in the UK will have to be an older one. Hopefully, it will just be a day out of sync, so Mon's episodes is on the UK on Tuesday etc.

Can't wait to finally be able to see this as a proper show and not that hodge podge Global Edition. Seems it'll be shown the next day following the US transmission, which is excellent news!
Just where is More4 on the epg though? Why isn't it on there yet? The channel launches tonight but no-one has been able to set anything before leaving the house!

They have, it was me. I was even going to do a heads up thread but you beat me to it. Why not put the time and a [heads up] tag in the title to get people's attention?

TDS is the best thing to happen to More 4

Monday's episode will be a recap of the previous week, while Tuesday - Friday will be the shows broadcast the previous night in the US.

So basically Mondays will be the 'Global Edition' for the previous week!
Works for me! We get all the show's permutations then!

This is the single reason I'm looking forward to More4. I used to Sky+ the Global Edition, but there was no series link (so I sometimes forgot) and often the scheduled recording would disappear from the planner without warning (CNN messing with their EPG, perhaps).

Hmm, here's hoping the quality continues with TDS, only they seem to have a few new correspondants who aren't really very good at the moment...

Actually, the episode broadcast this evening was last Monday's US edition, so it looks like we are going to be a week out of date, unless they skip the other three episodes from last week.

Didn't find it very funny, was so USA-oriented that I didn't follow a lot of it.
