Battlestar Galactica S2E10 *SPOILERS*

WOW! ..... Now that's how to end the series while it goes on hiatus until January. Michelle Forbes is excellent as Admiral Cain & things look really grim for Galactica.

I wonder what that new Cylon ship is? ... Requiring two Base-Stars to protect it?!? .. Yikes!

Fantastic show & January can't come quick enough.

Bloody hell! What a great episode, what a cliffhanger!

Best moment in an episode full of great moments :
Adama punking out Cain " I'm coming for my men!"
Kick ass Bill!

Have to agree with the OP, the first word that came to mind was Wow. Had everything in that episode and definately a 'I want more' episode. The 24 lass seems to be ok so far, definately the best Sci-fi at the moment in my opinion.

Average episode: I felt that they went too far in making the crew of the Pegasus bad, we had rapists, murderous admirals, people dissing our heroes left, right and centre. Where's the ambiguity that normally pervades this show and helps raise it above the usual TV dross.

The only bit I felt excelled were the Baltar/No. 6 scenes. I wonder if Galactica will end up with a "real" No. 6 given that Tricia hasn't been seen much in the first half of the season?

I predict that one of the admiral's own crew will remove her from duty, which may or may not end up with her dead.

I can't believe we have to wait until January for the next ep, it's the best show on tv! At least Lost is back to keep me sated.

It's going to be a long wait until January to see the showdown between the Galactica and the USS Raperprise.

January!?!?! I don't get it, how is it on http://www.scifi.com/battlestar/ it states the next episode if Sept 30th?
Surely they can't leave us in suspense for 3 months!

:edit: Ah - they are reshowing the start of the second series again

That ending surely ranks alongside the "Best Of Both Worlds pt 1 ending" for "Oh no don't stop there!!!" factor.

I'm hoping the Pagasus ExO is the key to the Galactica's survival. He's the only one made out to ba anything near human so far.
Wonder if the Pegasus will go out in a blaze of glory taking out the new Cylon ship.

Anyone else notice the number of survivors jumped up for the first time!

Such a cool series

What a great episode, Adama rocks! I also think the Pegasus XO will be the man to end it all, he seems like a decent guy. Can't believe have to wait until January! It apparently spans out over another 2 episodes as well. At least I've got Lost and one of the TV sites has Alias season 5 down to start next week too.

Also, don't know if anyone noticed the episode ran to 44+ minutes, so a couple longer than normal, plus according to the podcast, the DVD will be cut with 15 minutes more material, including more Pegasus backstory and a longer
scene.

EDIT: Nice to see they made both ships look totally different internally as well as slightly different externally, Pegasus is a more modern ship and looks it.

I felt ashamed at the sheer number of expletives I uttered during that ending. I can't recall a cliffhanger as good as that for a long time! I really hope the extended DVD edition covers some of trial at least... it would be good to actually feel some of the emotion of Tyrol and Helo as they're being sentenced.

Baltar's declaration of his feelings for Six also seem to be yet another subtle step towards his eventual change in allegiance...

Personally, I thought Cain's character was too one-dimensional and severe.. but maybe that's what Ron Moore et al were aiming for.

I'm also wondering whether Pegasus' Deck Chief has a role to play. His character looked quite interesting and certainly different from the rest of the Pegasus' crew.

Don't think I can wait till January. Anyone know any good deals for being cryogenically frozen for three months?

I thought that SG-1 had a good cliffhanger but that blew it out of the water.
Go kick ass Bill.

I agree with the comments above that the evilness of the Pegasus crew was overplayed but what the hell, it was still cliffhanger-tastic stuff!

It's been years, can someone please remind me what happened to the Lloyd Bridges led Pegasus in TOS please?

In TOS, it went head to head with 2 or 3 Cylon Basestars and when there was a massive explosion, the basestars and the Pegasus were gone. It was left ambiguous as to whether it had been destroyed or had gone off to continue the fight elsewhere and in its own way.

as others have said, this was the best cliffhanger I have seen in a Sci-Fi show.

We thought there was tension before....

I'm betting that either the Prez will intervene, or the cylons will attack.

Did anyone else think Adama looked unhappy when the Battlestar turned out to be Pegasus - maybe Bill knows Cain by reputation.

Pretty good cliffhanger, though of all the Summer finales I thought this one and SG1 Atlantis were the best. I saw the SG1 one coming a mile off.

dont think cain will listen to the Prez.

my guess is either that big cylon ship appears and pegagus rams it or the fleet try and help galactica somehow which forces cain to give up on them and go their own way
