"individually numbered, featuring a 48-page collectable photo album. "

Seems fairly basic unless they're holding info back.

Some listings are saying the LE boxset has 19 disks (8 BD + 3 DVD of the films but with 3 others)
The cheaper boxset only have the 8 BD film disks

Does anyone know what if anything are on these extra 3 disks

Surely Maximum Movie Modes are as long/longer than the film? What's going on there, I wonder...

Most listings say you get DVDs with the set, If they are 'digital copies' then this is the set that Ill get the kids for xmas so they can watch them on there laptops.

However my daughter is a member of the Pottermore website and she said there was some info a while back saying there will be a special set released with some new extras, so it might be this?

Stuck an order in for both anyway and will wait for a bit more info.

Amazon now list the normal Blu set as having 11 discs (guess the extra discs come from the two disck versions of the last 3 films?). The LTD set is no listing as
Quote:
This limited edition numbered box set contains 19 discs--each film comes on both Blu-ray and DVD and there are three additional Blu-ray discs containing over 5 hours of extra content. Also, included is a collectible retrospective photo album.

Each box set is individually numbered--pre-order this item for a chance to receive one of the sets numbered from 1 to 1000. The first 1000 numbers will be issued randomly to customers that pre-order. Other numbers are also available.
Not sure what but guess the 19 discs is made up of 11Blus (as the normal Blu Ray set), and 8 dvds (as the DVD set) ? and I think the '3 extra' discs they mention are the 2nd discs that are in the normal Blu set for the last 3 films?
I just wish there would be some sort of clarification about digital copies as this will be the decider for what one to get the kids.

I'd imagine that's a reasonable assumption.

The fact they've given that fairly detailed summary but haven't mentioned digital copies at all would suggest to me there aren't any.

Personally I'm undecided whether to plump for this complete series set now, or wait and see if we ever get a version of those special editions they've been gradually releasing in the US.
