Borderlands 3 - Multi Platform

One of the best games ever created is coming back. Very excited by this, one of the best co-op experiences I've ever had. Over 1 billion guns!!

They struck gold with the Borderlands formula and only they can screw it up. All I want is more of the same really, but different environments, enemies, character skill trees etc.

Loved the first two games so this is a no-brainer, UNLESS they totally cock it up & do a Fallout-76 with it!

The Remastered Game of the Year edition of Borderlands is released today. It might be a free upgrade on PC but us console players have to pay for it. I already own Borderlands digitally through backwards compatibility, but I am still interested because I never played the DLC and there are some other improvements such as Borderlands 2 HUD, mini map, gold keys etc. Not a big fan of the way those video transmissions you receive have been done though, the originals was fine.

We should find out the release date of Borderlands 3 today . . . possibly. My guess is that it won’t be that long to wait, although October marks the 10 year anniversary of the first game, so there is that as well.

I'm looking forward to re-playing the first game. I remember it having much less story and interaction with characters. I've played (and replayed) all of the games and got the full whack of achievements which is pretty heavy going, so I'll have to get prepared for this.

Borderlands GotY Remaster, basically it’s awesome. I wanted to upload video or screenshot comparisons but those features are disabled for the backwards compatible original version for some reason. I just played up to beating Nine-Toes and it just plays so well. Only downside is realising, then remembering how quickly enemy mobs respawn. You get cool guns in your backpack as a reward for playing before and 75 gold keys...

You can bring your 360 game save over.
So tempting but I'll wait for a sale.

One performance issue I have noticed is that if you turn on the feature that makes the mini map rotate as you turn, instead of it being static, it creates a lot of tearing (on the One S at least). I think this was an issue with Borderlands 2 as well.

Leak of new free Borderlands 2 DLC

Commander Lillith and the fight for Sanctuary....with new bosses, loot and even a loot level above legendary and the level cap raised to 80....

I've just started true vault hunter mode with my Gauge build at about level 38 so hopefully, I'll have finished the game again in time to play the new DLC when it arrives in true vault hunter mode.

Would be great to get a squad together to go through the new DLC like old times (also, if someone fancies gifting me a norfleet or doing some farming raids, that would also be good)

Would love to play this on release day onwards but both digital & disk versions are currently pricey. There’s a couple of European websites offering the digital copy for a reasonable price but purchasers have had payment issues...
