I think I'd rather watch a remake of The Full Monty starring Boris Johnson!
The original is one of those films I never got on with, probably just the wrong demographic, especially as I'd rather listen to Susan Boyle than Kiss!!
I’m a massive Bill & Ted fan but this looks dreadful. Alex Winter looks like he has a CGI face.
This movie is probably 20-25 years to late, Keanu looks like he is doing a bad Keanu impression. When he was on Jonathon Ross show last year he looked good and lively but here he looks old as his 55 years if not older and a bit stiff in the acting there does not seem to be any magic.
This was always going to be a bad idea, why does Reeves look like he's CGI?
You just can't take hit films with young characters in them and sequel them with the same characters who are now old and expect the humour to hit home. It's a 5 minute skit on SNL at best.
Recent disasters are Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, shudder.

I love Jay & Silent Bob strike back, I am hopnig you are talkng about the reboot, which I also found dire. Fingers crossed for this one, isn't it the same creators involved though, which is good, and one of them went on to write the screenplay for Men in Black (and then the Now you see me movies).

Yep, Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson. They created the characters and wrote all three films. They also appear in all three films.
In Excellent Adventure, they're the ziggy piggy waiters. In Bogus Journey, they're in the seance with Mom (Missy). They've also confirmed they will appear in Face the Music as well.
This trailer has reminded me of the first movie as a great 80s/90s movie option for my 8 year old daughter, esp as she's touching on some basic historical school work now too.
Ziggy piggy, ziggy piggy, etc.!

Not holding out much hope, it's the sort of idea you should have on the bog than forget about it as a bad idea. They just look middle aged, which is what they are.
I was always a fan of Bill & Ted over Wayne's World, which I found very 'meh'. (Even the in-car Bohemian Rhapsody scene). Does anyone like both series, or is it usually very much one over the other?
But I've not seen Bill & Ted since the early 90's so I'm not sure it would stack up now. I guess it's been dusted off cos of Keanu's resurgence in popularity in John Wick.

Incidentally, I love both B&T and WW.
The script for B&T3 has been around since 2010 with reports that it was finished in 2011. Director Dean Parisot (Galaxy Quest, Fun with Dick and Jane and Red 2) has been attached to the project since late 2012.
In the intervening years I believe they have been honing the script and just trying to get the project financed. According to Wiki, most financiers were more interested in a reboot rather than a sequel but Alex and Keanu had a script they love, and they wanted to revisit these beloved characters as middle-aged men.
