A few more from the middle backwards should really have gambled on starting on slicks IMO.

Lando helping to strip down the car post-race:
https://twitter.com/TimBampton/statu...54634117931008
Some interesting battles in the midfield, but absolute domination from Mercedes. Not sure I'd have risked the late race pit stop, there just seems like too much to go wrong. But the performance difference is incredible from them to everyone else. Incredible work by Red Bull to fix Verstappen's car.
No penalty for Albon regarding the allegation of the team drying the grid box, but both Haas cars were penalised 10 seconds because they ultimately instructed their drivers to pit for tyres on the formation lap and that's not allowed under the regulations - the driver has to make the call entirely themselves.

Did Bottas get cleared of jump starting? Looked pretty cut and dried to me. Unless he went on time but just thought he'd gone too early.

Yep the sensor didn’t detect movement, so he didn’t leave the box, much like Kimi in Russia last year

Latest rumours on additional races this year, seems like a decent set of tracks to add:

I'll be particularly pleased to see a race at Imola again.

I can't recall reading anything about Aragon unfortunately, I'll post a link if I come across anything.

A non-F1 note but interesting potentially useful for F1, the 6 races in 9 days with Formula E will take place on different variations of the Berlin Circuit. They’ve been talking about similar things (ie the outer ring of Bahrain) in F1, there are 3-4 variations of Abu Dhabi...?

I’m getting mixed up. it’s not Aragon I like, it’s this one. Portimao is awesome! What it’ll be like with F1 I have no idea but I can’t wait to fine out.

I cannot wait to see Imola and Mugello, two amazing circuits which should both be part of the calender anyway, Portimao I have not seen any racing on but with T4V saying its awesome I look forward to it.
This season of F1 did not look like it was happening, then few races and now a very interesting line up of events, I am looking forward to seeing the upcoming races more than usual as its being more diverse Its turned out to be a more interesting season.

I had a look at some videos of Portimao and it looks quite fast and flowing but also with some tight turns which all lead onto straights.

If you are looking for somewhere you’ve seen it before then it’s where first a pre-TG Chris Harris and then The Grand Tour both took “The Holy Trinity” of Porsche, Ferrari and McLaren

Nice elevation changes there, long lap in a GT car though, I guess F1 would be 30 seconds a lap quicker.

This one has plenty of onboard and is from the formula where everyone drove for their country. Can't remember the name of it!

A1GP
If you want to see what it’s like racing (with rich kids and retired CEOs) I noticed that the Ferrari 488 series they’ve been showing after the F1 on Sky is there this weekend

Perez has tested positive for COVID-19 and is obviously out for this week and probably the next 2 races after that
