Ah yes, that's the one.

An Oscar screener but DVD quality and was definitely available 'in the high seas community' before it's theatrical release date

BBC doing a sterling job covering this release: "Wonder Woman flops internationally'. That's such an out of touch view point, what were they expecting?! A fraction of the cinemas are open, many countries have a lot of locked down regions and they've also announced you can watch it from home in the very near future - box office was never going to be significant.

Variety, screen rant, Forbes, Hollywood reporter.... All report flop.

If AT&T want to use it to prop up their failing streaming platform...That's the price.

We'll see if they make a billion from January subscriptions in the one market their platform is available in.

You do know that Forbes.com is just a platform for bloggers?

On other hand they could say ďhighest grossing movie of December 2020Ē

Do see it unfair to judge the success / quality of the film on its box office success
Iím looking forward to it and will purchase via Apple, but, as is my self imposed rule, not until under a tenner

Hence Iím also waiting in tenet

Don't care .... just googled 'wonder woman box office' and that was one of the many results, all the headlines being 'flop' or some variant there of.

Also, New York Post "wonder woman flops in china box office debut", MSN, "flopped at china box office ahead of HBO max.. etc.

It's free on Sky/NowTV if that's any help?

It's just that I often see it being cited as a reliable source, no doubt because of Forbes magazine. As a resource itself, you may as well post the ramblings of a random youtuber.

I donít think itís gone away and if anything think easier / more ďpopularĒ than ever

I remember having XBMC on an original Xbox and kodi on a first / second generation pi but with the quality and price of films on Apple TV as well as Netflix etc. Iíve not touched it in probably 3 years or more

But Facebook seems awash with talk of ďchippedĒ fire sticks or modded this, that or the other as well as iptv seemingly to be a massive thing all of a sudden

It will be interesting to see how this does overall

The real interesting thing would be if Apple or similar got hold of the Bond movie

I hope not - that's currently not being released for another 4 months. Hopefully things would have calmed down by then

Didnít it almost happen a couple months back but numbers didnít quite add up ?

I imagine if Apple (or alternative) came up with an enticing enough figure it would like happen

I really would like this situation to change cinemas and not kill them

Make them an event. A proper night out
Decent seats with decent picture and decent sound with the focus on the event and the service and not the popcorn and drinks. A return to ushers and projectionists and a turfing out of those who spoil it for others.

Iíd gladly pay the money to go to cinema if the experience was there. And that being the overall experience

But if No Time to Die appeared for a 15 quid rental / 30 quid purchase on Apple TV then I have to say, Iíd probably take the hit

Bond is the only film Iíd pay £15 to rent, otherwise Iím just waiting for home release.

Canít see it releasing in cinemas in April and itís been so long now, Iíve lost interest in seeing it in the cinema anyway, so another couple of months to buy it and watch it had home is neither here nor there.

Want to see both in cinema. Wonder woman was physically unable too as all local cinemas had to close the same time it was released! Wait to see new time cinemas are able to open that they will and I can get to see it

I am guessing with the current situation ... if you haven't seen it at the cinema already then you probably never will unless it gets a re-release in several months time. The country is not coming out of Tier 3/4 anytime soon IMHO.

It's US streaming date is tomorrow, right ? The same day Soul gets released on Disney+ ?
