I think a tiered pricing system is the best way forward, let's say £7-£10 for a one-off viewing on a pay-to-play basis and £20-£25 for a premier pass rental covers all the bases IMO, giving the individuals who just want to watch the film a much more affordable way to access the films while families and hardcore fans can potentially save money compared to a trip to the cinema. A system like that wouldn't even need to be updated once cinemas re-open either, they could just continue with that for simultaneous stremaing and cinema releases offering film viewers more options to get value for money than ever before. You find watching films in a public setting and having to put up with the noise and distraction that brings? Watch it at home. Don't go to the cinema because of the exorbitant cost of taking your spouse and three kids out to watch one film? Rent it for a couple of days. Everyone's happy.

At least they announced, in advance, when Mulan would be available to all Disney+ subscribers so you knew you were effectively paying for advanced access. I don't know if they have done that yet for Black Widow.

Yes, if the rumour is true ... to get Black Widow you will need to pay for a Disney+ subscription (currently £6pm) PLUS the £20 for the film itself

Is Star the reason for the price increase ? I thought that was an optional extra ?

Man that's a bizarre photo, what the hell is going on with her hair? It looks like they've superimposed a completely new hairdo on her.

She doesn’t look that enthused about the decision!

Even if cinemas aren’t open by July I guess they’ll have to commit to the Disney+ date now.
