Palm Springs was one of my favourite movies of last year. A great time loop film.

Okay so thunder force.

I mostly enjoyed it. But I am a woman of similar age to the 2 leads and appreciated seeing women of more normal figures on screen. And I like Jason Bateman.

My other half thought it awful :-)

Thunderforce, didn't think this was that bad, not enough laughs for a comedy, but there were a few laugh out loud moments. On the whole it was a ok Saturday night movie.

I really enjoyed Palm Springs too. I thought the two leads had great chemistry, it was funny yet sweet in places and I absolutely adored the score which was quirky and fitting to the mood of the film.

I hope the Lonely Island guys can branch out and produce more great movies like this now that BB99 is concluding.

Palm Springs was alright I suppose - not many really laugh out loud moments; but I agree about the score being good

We watched Palm Springs last night and it great. Even my wife liked it, just wish I could get her to watch more things she hasn't seen before.

Caught Space Sweepers tonight and was pretty entertained by it. It's being hailed as Koreas first space blockbuster and it's basically what you get if you throw Star Wars, Cowboy Bebop, and The Expanse into a blender. Once you get used to the brain salad effect of the multinational supporting cast of less than professional actors all speaking various languages with their dialogue looped you can settle into a pretty fun film. The key here is that the main characters are all really engaging so the derivative nature of it all just works.

While I'm thinking of Soth Korean action blockbusters I also recommend Psychokinesis, which has been on Netflix for years and is a lot of fun. Caught it when it first came out and may have mentioned it before.

Watched the trailer last night and it looked really good, some nods back to the original Zombie movies as well.

Speaking of Zombie movies, saw this one on Prime, looks quite good but haven't watched it yet

Watched Sound of Metal last night on Prime. Excellent stuff, and found it quite an uncomfortable watch at times but not entirely sure why.. Maybe it was the audio really helping the audience feel what the main guy was feeling.

I haven't seen much love or buzz for Primes Invincible. Don't be put of by the fact this is an animated show. It's brutal, deep and fun as heck. Almost like a cross between the Boys and the Justice League.

Sounds right up my street.

I tried watching Solar Opposites, on Disney+, the other day and had to check I had selected the right episode. S01E01 starts like it makes you think you have missed several episodes already

Yeah, I pretty much hated it. Seemed to generate plenty of positive reviews though.
