Nice.... list looks good. Chunk of DVD/Blu-Ray collection I could dump in the bin though. Less and less likely to open that cupboard full of discs.

Yeah had already seen, and not impressed as already seen all the old tv and films I've wanted to see, and getting frustrated as one I haven't seen, which would have been perfect for Disney, Once apon a Deadpool not seeing anywhere, but Deadpool 2 is popping up everywhere at the mo, was even on Channel 4 the weekend.

The on e might try though is Terriers as not seen that available before in this country and seems to have a good word of mouth

Hence why i am mentioning it, but it is not just that, its the kid from Princess Bride grownup in a DEadpool telling the story at their hospital bed wraparound story, showing what a PG version of Deadpool would be like. Idon't know how many extra scenes there are or how much of the film is changed. I do however know its a different version that seemed to get good reviews, so I would like to see it and seems ideal for TV showings.

1) About 10-20 min extra, all filmed in 1 day.
2) I didn't see any good reviews after a quick google.
3) I can't believe that anyone on DVDF would actually say "ideal for TV viewing" about the TV-version of a film! The ideal version is ... the original version ... "Flip you! Flip you, you flippin' melon farmer!"
4) Watching this version will only encourage such nonsense >> "This one time, at band camp, I stuck a flute in my mouth."

Sometimes censored versions of things are quite funny though

To me it sounded like an ideal opportunity for deadpool to send up censored tv movies, obviously I wont know until I've seen it. Yeha looknig now its at 55% on rotten tomatoes and imdb doesnt seem to have it listed a sa separate film.

One of the reviews describe it as:

Here comes Once Upon a Deadpool, a movie that's one-part TV edit, one-part DVD extra, and a whole lot of WTF.

Still it exists, has new original footage, so would like to see this version which is them showing what sort of version the studios wanted.

And yes the definitive version is obviously going to be the original - unless I watch this and its actually better but is doubtful. But for me gives me a good excuse to rewatch deadpool 2 considering it wasnt that long ago that I have seen it.

Watched “Greenland” last night via Prime
Great movie. Seems wrong to use a word like “enjoyed” as at times it was quite a difficult and sad watch (ok, it’s no, “The Road) but probably the best new film seen in long time.

That was one of the ones I was going to see at the cinema last summer (or at least saw the trailer and thought yes, my sort of thing)

Will watch tonight!

Another thumbs up for Greenland here. I heard good things about it and went in with low expectations but it's a really decent.

One gripe about the ending, I think it should've ended

I got the feeling that may have been added after test screenings maybe ?
I thought the same as you and last minute or so added to maybe change feel

Great film though. Like the use of the word exhausting.
It’s strange how being a parent makes me watch movies differently these days.

Sounds like I should have watched Greenland last night instead of Malcolm & Marie.

It's not a bad film but I had to turn it off half way I couldn't take it anymore. It's well directed, looks really nice the director does have a tendency to move the camera too much though.

The problem with the film is that it's just two people screaming at one another for two hours (I assume) and neither one of them is likable and the whole time I watched it it just seemed to be a contest of who could be the nastiest.

I am sure it will find an audience as the acting is pretty good and it's a clever take on a lockdown filmed movie but just not for me.

Got email this morning Netflix are putting 4K content up to Ł14 a month in March.... that's getting crazy vs Amazon prime or Disney+. As a result have I dropped to crusty the old Ł10 1080p package.... they are going to get a money reduction from me, not an increase!

Bad move I think considering they've got competition ramping up considerably. Amazon's UI is still absolute pants at surfacing content, so they do themselves no favours, but looking at a site like https://www.justwatch.com/uk.. shows they are clearly added a lot of films lately.

Plus I've actually watched more on 'Shudder' than Netflix since Christmas! Some great little new ish horror films, classics and original content. Definitely recommend. They had a deal 3 months for 99p per month, running till April. Better use of funds than spending it on Netflix 4k IMHO.
