It's by no means top tier stuff but my wife and I enjoyed it and will happily return for a second series. It's certainly worth giving a go to.

The whole of the Battlestar Galactica reboot is on iPlayer - the picture quality is awful though, so I went out and bought the BR set, which was a mistake as the packaging is really, really awful and the horrible Universal Menus/Software crash my otherwise rock solid Sony BR player.
My recommendation- buy the HD streams on Amazon!

I have the "whole" Battlestar Galactica bluray set (don't think it has blood and chrome and the plan) and the packaging is fine. i do dislike Universal Menus, thankfully runs fine on my old samsung player

Been watching some old Top Gear on Netflix and was surprised to learn that they’re uncensored

I didn't save it for Halloween.
It's a very good follow-up to the original. Very similar in tone and with the same comic-book over the top splatter.
I'd probably rate it as a notch below the forerunner but it's still well worth a watch.

I'm going to save it for the 31 days of halloween horror but now looking more forward to it
Finished watching Hannibal series 1-3 - Bloody awesome!! Mads is fantastic as Hannibal and the rest of the cast are all doing a great job. Agree that series 3 is the weakess due to the dull italian bits which are just such a waste of time. The Red dragon part is great though. Good news is the netflix episodes are the extended producers cut - with uncensored nudity, which arent on the Uk bluray/dvd releases.

Given the furore that a certain Netflix addition is causing at the moment a few fully grown men swearing a bit is so tame it doesn't even register. Notice that the Obamas and Mrs and Mr Meghan Markle have stayed silent on this matter too busy sucking Netflix's tit.

Why do some people feel the need to post right wing extremist comments in every bloody thread?

I’d say using a mention of Top Gear as an excuse to have a pop at Obama is pretty right wing isn’t it?

Netflix recent censoring of comedy shows, but to leave Top Gear untouched is a complete joke. My pop at the Obamas and Markle, is due to their stance on everything to do with racism and rights for women etc, but when it comes to exploitation of kids in a movie distributed by the company they took millions of dollars from... not a peep.

Whats the obsession with throwing around labels.
Mentioning Obama had nothing to do with the presidency

I guess it's because they've decided it's not for younger kids, so may as well have the low level swearing in it. I don't recall they often swear like on south park, it's more a **** when they are driving or something. It's just the rating they give it and it doesn't appear in the kids bit.

So, sort of getting back on topic ....
Few weeks back we discussed the "much acclaimed" new Charlies Angels movie being on Amazon
My other half wanted to see it so we added it to the watch list for that night - however it seemed to drop off the same day it went on
Was this an error ? (maybe quality control )

First Man is on Netflix, a cold but certainly interesting film and a great soundtrack.
