Anyone watched 'Away' on Netflix yet?

Watched couple of episodes and not too keen so far despite Swank plus Will from The Good Wife.

Bit too family-melodrama for my liking. Feel like I've seen all the space and ground bits before.

Does it get any better? I mean it's fine, but given the volume of content everywhere these days...

I was planning on watching it as like Will from good wife.
But I am better now at giving up after Obe if not fussed. (Cursed for example)

I've watched two eps, but not sure if I'll continue. I just get the feeling it's going to a lot more soap than space, and my to-watch list is long enough already. Found it pretty dull.

Yeah, I watched Away over the weekend (after I while just kept it on while I did other things). It feels like a very inferior version of For All Mankind, which is a much better watch.

I got bored with the stereotyped characters, the predictable dramatic beats and the clunky exposition where highly trained astronauts explain things they would all know to each other in the most simplistic terms possible for the audience's benefit. And late in the series, several episodes rely on utterly ridiculous science howlers that render them nonsense:

I would not recommend.

I also thought the woman in charge of NASA looked like a dinner lady who had accidentally put on a suit instead of her tabard. Once that idea was in my head I couldn't take it seriously.

another I would not recommend is Only

its about airborne virus from a comet but it kills off only women, and its a film that focus on a couple and could of been really good (sort of children of men) but such much dumb logic from both of them. They do these things to move the plot forward

Thanks. Sadly they've not put the 4K version on Prime also. Still a Ł5 to rent. Not that worried, the quality of their HDR versions tends to vary in my experience.

Really enjoyed the first flim - alot of fun and Samara Weaving was excellent.
Sadly no Samara in the sequel but still looks fun.
This is up now. I'll probably save it for Halloween.

I watched the first babysitter tonight.
I thought it was great! And the most unrealistic bit was with the car!

Shall look forward to the second one!

Gave away a go and quite enjoyed it, probably as people said, it’s a bit melodramatic, which suits me.
Bit slow but I shall give it another few episodes to bed in.

Watched Danger Close on Netflix last night. Took me an hour to realise the main guy was Ragnar Lothbrok. Film itself was excellent.

Space force is terrible, given the people involved it should of been good
