Micon your mob has the most expensive premier league team ever assembled you muppet. It's embarrassing that despite that it is so deeply average.

There were a few stonewall penalties not given on Match Of The Day last night. I'm sure the players have only themselves to blame, hitting the deck after the tiniest brush with a player. The refs look to be very wary about awarding a penalty these days.

And also has Ashley young in the team, one of the worst divers in the premier league.
At the moment I wouldn't be surprised if we drop out of the Top 4.

I think you'll find that he's one of the best.

Reflection after Saturday's abysmal performance leaves me EXPECTING that the players now realise that there's a real danger of finishing outside of the top 4 and that their quality will show through when it matters. Whether that happens is another matter of course.

You're not going to finish outside the top four. 4th and having to qualify for the CL is a real possibility.

It's so congested 2nd-5th, we have to be realistic enough to accept it as a possibility.
What I would say is that after yesterday's tonking to United, Spurs are out of it and I think Southampton are too far behind as well, so it's perm any 3 from 4.
We do have a fairly reasonable run-in and I as I said above, I expect the team to knuckle down and show their class over the last 10 weeks of the season.

Liverpool aren't going to gain 8 points on you in 9 games. Just not gonna happen.

Don't worry both you & Chelsea have bought top four positions, the rest of us will fight it out with the fans hard earned money.

MICON, we can hardly moan about silly money when we have Di Maria and Falcao underperforming.

4 points isn't it? Doubtful but far from impossible

5 now with goal difference. Still not going to happen given the relative fixtures for both.

Who knows how this will go tonight, but at least MP has made the correct choice with his starting line-up; Fernandinho and Milner both starting makes for a solid midfield (hopefully!)

Just what I was thinking. For more than one reason, I'd be subbing Nasri for Navas at half-time. Might as well give Yaya a free role as well and see what damage he can do further forward.

Joe Hart MoM regardless of the result.
Can anyone explain the point of the goal line officials? As far as I could tell he didn't give that pen, despite being about 10 ft away.

I could claim that I have a hotline to the manager, but it was the obvious sub to be fair.
Decent performance on the night, but easily 2nd best overall; Joe Hart put in an amazing shift and at least we kept 11 on the field in the end.

They may punish the ref, they may rescind the card, but it doesn't give back West Brom badly needed points & of course helps/ gives city the three points, as if they don't already have enough help.

Are you trying to say it wasn't a red card?
