if you saw Suarez one penalty for Liverpool you'd know that wasn't really an option.

While I'm not happy with a loss, it could have been a lot worse with our 1st half dispaly. But I was happy with our 2nd half display, with Yaya back I hope we can pull it out of the bag in the return leg.

I thought we did okay, obviously they are a reasonably good side
Second half (until the sending off at least, which in isolation was fair enough, but when you look at other fouls he let go without bookings, particulalry Mascherano, was harsh) we could easily have got back into it. Had enough chances.
Goal keeps us in it. Not over yet.

It's happened a lot this season - it takes us going behind before we start playing.
Don't know why, but it's a problem that needs addressing.
Mystified as to why Fernando started ahead of Fernandinho, especially with Yaya out.

Magical performance from David Silva tonight. He got us the important goal through sheer tenacity, but it was his many precision passes that created a lot of chances that caught the eye.
Funny game; Leicester were unlucky not to get a penalty and could have scored a couple, but we carved out a bagful of chances and played reasonably well against the parked bus for much of the game.
Important win - not for the title chase, but to keep us clear in 2nd!

Can't argue with that - he's been our best defender this season.

Baywatch Martin as I like to call him has been brilliant this season for us. He's been the best defender at the club and oozes class. Great News to keep him at the club for another season

He's of a certain age that twice a week every week will only take away from his game.

I've always thought Boyd was crap, but that was a stunning strike.

Fair play to Burnley, they've defended really well against you. Apart from Aguero's header you didn't threaten their goal much.
Title to Chelsea confirmed really now. Poor old Padre Ted is looking older every week. He must be expecting the sack at the end of the season.

Looks like they could get caught by the chasing pack.

Very poor performance. The odd brief glimpse of style aside, our build-up play was so slow.
Even though we had a blatant penalty turned down near the end, we really can have no complaints because Burnley were much better tonight.
I think you're right about the title. Still, it gives us something to play for until the end of the season - 2nd place, because the way Arsenal are bagging points, I'd make them favourites.

I must admit, that's what I thought. No excuse, but didn't Pellegrini's comment relate to players surrounding the ref to get somebody sent off?
Sadly, it's all part of the game these days. Aguero, who is generally seen as a fair player, clearly knocked the ball out for a throw at one stage and was then seen trying to claim the throw for us. Why?

They all do it. Our Manager chats so much nonsense I don't even bother to comment these days.

The whole game is morally questionable. Why wouldn't it be with the money involved? That's why genuine sportsmanlike behaviour is always a shock.
