Interestingly, Formula E effectively did F1's "double points" event the right way - no mucking about with the scoring, just have two races in the final weekend.

Yeah it's the right thread (though general stuff sometimes ends up in the F1 thread.)

Looking forward to the BTCC too, and it will probably have more going for it than the F1. Bathurst is on tonight as well, coverage starts shortly on Motors TV though I can't stay up all night watching.

Keep forgetting about MotorsTV! Is Race Of Champions on there again this year? Only just realised it's in London. We went to RoC when it was at Wembley last time and it was a good day out.

I read that ROC is broadcast on Sky Sports F1 this year. Sounds like a good trip, hadn't realised it was London this year either.

Think both BT and Motors have Bathurst, not sure if it was live on both but I definitely saw some of it on Motors last night (before I fell asleep!)

Anyone know how I can watch the last DTM race tomorrow? I watched the first race today on ESPN but none of the BT Sport channels have it listed tomorrow and the next DTM prog is a highlights show on WEDNESDAY! MADNESS!

Hmm. I've just checked that channel again out of curiosity - qualifying works, but idly clicked on the race link and it says it's not available in this country :/ Might just be because it's not live yet but thought I should mention it. Odd that BT aren't showing it, even with a slight delay

Bit of a late heads up but the 2nd Formula E session starts in China tomorrow and is back on ITV4 at 8am, highlight 9.25am Sunday on ITV.

This year should be a lot more interesting with each team building their own motors/gearboxes

Yes I caught it, though I thought the TV director wasn't going to - he actually missed the very start of the race! I'm sure that will be reinstated in the highlights package as they do have the footage. Crazy race, reminded me a lot of IndyCar this year.
