A brilliant performance and so unexpected, given our recent history. Coquelin was fantastic in his discipline and Cazorla was different class. One of the most pleasing things for me was in that final 10 minutes when we attacked but didn't have enough options in the box, as we've all seen how often everyone likes to charge.
Let's hope it's not a one-off in the big games away. We'll see what happens at United and Spurs away.

Podolski, Sanogo and now Campbell going as part of the deal to bring Paulista to Arsenal, hope Wenger knows what he's doing

I think we all knew that Podolski was going for quite a while & Campbell & Sanogo weren't getting any game time. With Gnabry supposedly back, it's seems like common sense to send them both out on loan. We desperately need cover at CB, so as long as we get the work permit, it looks like a good deal to me.
Been a funny weekend for results, let's hope we don't add to the shocks! Wonder what sort of team we'll put out? Alexis looked like he really needed a rest against City.

Time to curse it, but a decent chance to retain this cup with Chelsea and City out.

If yesterday's crazy results proved anything, it's that we shouldn't take today for granted especially in terms of team selection. I reckon Alexis will be given a break and maybe The Ox too, with Ozil and Walcott coming in. Was a tough game last time we played them, so let's just hope all the Cupsets were used up over the last couple of days.

Anyone watching the match on BT Sport? How bad is Robbie Savage, he sounds like a darts commentator

Just play everything in and around Ince ....... laziest footballer I've seen in some time.
Stands there and watches players go past.

Ozil might have a shade more influence on play than Ince seems to be interested in creating though ?

Don't have BT Sport, so not watching unfortunately, but everyone on Twitter is saying how particularly atrocious he is today. Bet he's gutted about that 3rd goal

yeah I don't have BT either. How is Ozil looking? Couple of twitter comments suggest he looks physically stronger, and that wasn't just bs.....

Have to say that I don't see the point in bringing Alexis on. Nothing to gain & everything to lose.
EDIT: Bugger 2-3

True, he undoubtedly has the ability, but seems to always slow things down when he gets the ball

Arsenal would have won that by four or five goals if your front players had passed instead of trying to make headlines.

Middlesbrough at home in the fifth round. Won't be easy given their win against City, but you have to fancy us at home.

Could be better, could be worse. Boro are very good defensively & could well be a PL team next season. But I thought we were odds on to draw Utd or Liverpool & I wouldn't particularly have fancied Palace or West Ham away either.

Always worry about these games where we are so comfortable at the start but fail to capitalize. Really should have been 2 or 3 up inside 15 minutes. Feo fluffed his lines a couple of times - still a bit rusty I guess, but a great assist from Ozil for the goal.

Needn't have worried Villa much the better eam for the first ten minutes of the second half, but our second goal killed them off. Good performances all around really.
